Almost four years passed and she found blogging was just like life, only with fewer calories and even more emails.

1. Life and blogging are about choices. Good? Bad? Who knows, until you make them.

5. You’re not the only one. Find someone who also thinks they’re the only one – you might help each other.

6. Having a love affair with cake and cookies can be epic, like, movie epic. Then again, Titanic and Romeo and Juliet…Balance in all things.

8. Be selective how you’re giving your time, it’s the one thing you’ll never get back.

You just need to care. Be a friend. Be there. Help someone. In the blogworld, ‘Like’ their post. 12. The worst crime that I ever did, besides listening to rock’n’roll (paraphrasing The Stranglers, with a giggle), was telling myself I wasn’t good enough; if I didn’t believe it, why the Hell else would anyone else?

13. People always say “quit whining”…why? Sometimes, in the midst of a good whine sometimes comes a flash of insight, a bolt of wisdom, a bombshell of brilliant. Again, moderation.

19. Watched Girlboss on Netflix, different, in a good way. Britt Robertson (Under The Dome, Life Unexpected, A Dog’s Purpose, etc.), plays charmingly frenetic Sophia. I loved how the two friends always said, “Love you, in case I die” to each other, negating that terrible thought, the regret, that if you lost someone they might not know you love them.

  6. I liked Girl Boss but it was a frustrating example of white woman privilege. She got away with so much crap… that if she were male or of a different race she would have been… anyway. It was fun at times. But I liked the other characters more than the main Girl “Boss”. But anyway… Nobody puts Girl Boss in a corner.

    2. I’m enjoying the show too, but it is hard to believe (even as a white woman) the character was able to get away with as much as she did. I mean I know I can get away with some things, but walking off with a full sized rug in full view of the sales clerk? It’s enough to make me wonder if I haven’t taken near enough advantage of my privilege.

  7. I’m with you, the 2nd Guardians soundtrack wasn’t near as good as the first! And, I only have internet TV, so I had no idea they were doing a TV version of Dirty Dancing until my Twitter feed lit up with that hashtag… and after reading the tweets, I’m so glad I didn’t know about it and wasn’t tempted to watch it!!   41. I enjoyed this a Lot, thanks a million! I must admit in the remake of “Dirty Dancing,” I liked the regular looking Baby who looked as young as she was supposed to be, Donna. I liked the fresh feeling and regular run and jump where you wonder if she may fall off the guy’s hands. . . I liked the interpersonal relationship between the parents, too. 🙂
    Anyway, don’t worry, we will hang around, wait for you to come visit and will come back~ always!

    I was thoroughly amused by your choices of humor. Although it is probably considered creepy, I like Chris Pratt, too. We (grandies and me) liked Baby Groot and some of the Galaxy 2 music but the plot seemed a little more corny than the first one.

    1. It was amazing (we are Groot) – Baby Groot was so cute, of course then came teen Groot. It was so fun to see Kurt Russell, isn’t it cool what they can do with special effects, they did the same in the latest Pirates of the Caribbean, lovely to see young Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow.
