Never thought about eating cotton candy with my toes — too much toe jam for me. And Ferris Wheels aren’t my cup of tea. 🙂
I’ve spent 24 years working in the field of developmental disabilities and understand that every one of us is developmentally disabled in some respect (i.e. many rocked scientists are socially disabled). It all depends upon what a society values in any given century (i.e. a cabinet maker doing stellar work who couldn’t read got along fine 200 years ago).

I love the fact that so many people are so different (different not less). You’re so right, a lot depends on the time, era, etc.
Thanks for dropping by, hope you have a wonder-filled weekend. 🙂
P.S. I try to keep my toes clean just in case I come across any cotton candy. 😉

Ha! Well done. I remember a blogger who once lamented never being Freshly Pressed, so she started a new category, Freshly Baked. Made me laugh. Speaking of Dancing in the Dark, you read a few hundred blogs and you do sometimes forget who exactly wrote about being “Freshly Baked.” Some blogger…
Sometimes I think a bit of anonymity is probably a good thing.
I enjoyed your circus analogies. When things are just too crazy, I like to tag posts clowns in the asylum. I forgot who once said that one too, but when the world seems crazy, you just have to remember the clowns are now running the asylum.

Yes, many days I feel Freshly Baked, mmm, now I’m thinking of baking, now I’m thinking of cookies, sorry, I digress, what were we talking about, oh yes, it really does feel like clowns are taking over and they’re scary ones…very scary. 😉

Donna, this is simply wonderful for Autism Awareness. I love how you sneak into your topics with pristine prose. We blithely follow your pied piping until we dance into the real subject — then we dance some more. And get cotton candy along the way. Oh, and that last GIF is pos-i-lutely polka-dottily perfect. Have a wonder-filled, hug-filled weekend, my friend. 🙂

That you for following my sometimes long and winding road, dear friend and I’m glad you enjoyed it all.

It is good, that there have been/are so much awareness at fx Autism through the last many years. There were not many years ago, when I could have used support for my son. He is well functioning today, which I can not thank the professionals for that.
Enjoy your weekend 🙂

Hi Donna, how the heck did you get the picture of me in costume practicing my killer dance moves? I suppose you recognised the hair style and my rather large tummy in my polka dot outfit. Normally I’d be unhappy to be thus exposed to so many of your followers but if it’s being used to direct attention towards Autism I shall grin and bear it. I’d never live it down if I said grin and bare it. The arrest would soon follow.
You are still a very bright light in a very dark heaven for me Sweet Donna.

It is about content!!! Be content. Ha! Also, never do a blog from a pet’s perspective. And maybe bail on wordpress… they are slowly dying. And I just noticed that they now lump posts together on the boards… or pages… or whatever those things are called… I mean, according to this, I missed like three posts on this blog, and instead of getting them one at a time, I get this mishmash of titles. Silly wordpress. Let’s all go somewhere else.

Yeah, I noticed the lumping too, it’s horrible for people who do multiple posts/day. And switching people’s email to block and likes not staying likes and unfollowing people without notice or consent, it’s got me thinking.
