I was working
on my blog,
late one night
When my eyes
beheld
an eerie sight
For my post
from its slab,
began to rise
And suddenly
to my surprise
It did the mash,
it did the Monster Meet and Greet Mash!
A monster blogger mash, it was a graveyard smash!
It did the mash, it caught on in a flash…
It did the mash, it did the monster blog mash!
The zombies and bloggers were having fun,
The blog party had just begun…
The scene was rockin’, we were digging the shares,
Some were commenting, well, those who dared
So add your link and des-crypt-ion, girls and guys,
Then suddenly to your surprise…
You can mash, you can monster blogger mash!
While I often say the best part of blogging is ‘meeting’ other bloggers, readers, etc., it’s been too long since we hung together, so welcome to the party, please, feel free to leave your blog name, a link to your blog or favourite post(s), and a des-crypt-ion. And pass it on: Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit, Tumblr, Google+, LinkIn,or reblog, so others can dig it too…
For some special treats, drop by some of the other blogs and Suzie’s Blog Party on Halloweenhttp://suzie81speaks.com (fabulous British blogger and creator of Twitter’s popular #SundayBlogShare). I’ll check back, enjoy the snacks, but I have some busy times ahead, including preparing something completely different…Hopefully I haven’t bitten off more than I can chew-ie and end up as blaster fodder. May The Force be with me.
Yes, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year People dressing as ghosts, goblins, and ghouls, Celebrities, minions, villains, and fools Filled with fun, food, and fear It’s the most wonderful time of the year
It’s the hap-happiest season of all With trick or treat greetings and candy meetings Friends and strangers coming to call It’s the hap-happiest season of all
Thank you, Cher and thanks for dropping by and Happy Birthday!!! Wishing you a day as wonderful as you (wow, that would be some wonderful day!!!). All the best today and every single day ever. 🙂 Big hugs from The Great Not Yet White But Cold North, dear friend!!! 🙂 xo
Thank you, thank you, dear Donna!! You are such an amazing soul; bless you my dear!!! It’s a rainy one here in Chicago; but I’m drinking a huge cup of coffee dreaming of Tim Hortons so it makes the day much warmer! Big hugs to you my dear, Cher xo

The rain started here somewhere in the night and it’s keeping up it’s rhythm like it thinks it’s in a dance contest. Awww, still quite Canadian even in America, hope you have an amazing birthday (sounds like a good start). 🙂
Big hugs xo

Ha HA! That Monster Mash Blog song was brilliant! Sadly I am old enough to remember that. and was singing along with the words you wrote!
Glad to come across your blog. My blog is about my love for travel and food 😊 https://smilingnotes.wordpress.com
Thank you so much for the meet and greet..hoping to meet wonderful bloggers here.
Thank you for dropping by my party!
And you proved the point about the best part is ‘meeting’ other bloggers because we found each other in this giant virtual haystack! 🙂
Hope this day treats you kindly. 🙂
What a wonderful blog you have! I am so glad you attended Donna’s Monster Meet and Greet! I’m now following your blog and can’t wait to read (and see) more! Cher xo
hahaha love the idea of the Monster Meet and Greet Mash! 🙂
I’m Rosie, founder of Everything’s Coming Up Rosie. I don’t have it all together. I don’t have all the answers. But, if we are going to impact the world, we need to share our stories. Here’s mine about life of happiness, single parenthood, and following my dreams. If I can do it, you can too. http://ecurosie.com/blog/
Did I hear ‘Free’…is that in Canada too because we get forgotten up here a lot lol 😉
Well, you certainly left us lots of treats, wait, where’s the tricks? 😉
Hope this week is being good to you so far. 🙂
Hey, thanks for the invite, I’ll join the party! I’ve been posting or reposting spooky/creepy/supernatural themed short stories every day (or almost everyday) for the last week or so over at Trent’s World to celebrate the season. Anyone can stop by if they want some nice holiday stories: https://trentsworldblog.wordpress.com/
Thanks Donna! The day is going well and I’ve finally returned to the party to give other fellow Monster Masher’s blogs the love mines received since I put up the link. Found some cool sites and stories!

So glad to hear that Trent, I see there’s been a lot of movement between the blogs which is amazing, so thrilled, just what I was hoping for. 🙂
My dear, I hope you don’t mind that I am posting again, but I just realized I didn’t leave a link or anything! Yep, it is my birthday because obviously I am getting OLD!!!! Thank you for hosting this great meet-and-greet-mash! Brilliant idea, Donna! I’m Cher and I write a blog called, “The Chicago Files (a Canuck living south of the 49th)! Thank you, Donna! Here is a link to a post about synchronicity, empathy, and compassion: http://wp.me/p4doQv-SH
Great idea, Donna… and I too recall the original and was singing along… I may never get rid of the earworm… 😉 To get in the spooky spirit, there are a few weird tales over on a page at mine… http://scvincent.com/flash-fiction/
And I don’t know about you, but as soon as I hear it or sing it or even hum it, I want to dance to it. 😉
Thanks for getting in the spirit, Sue! 🙂
Hope this day treats you kindly. 🙂
So glad you could join us, Haylee and yes, that is a very suitably spooky post!
Thanks for getting into the spirit of the party!!! 😉
Hope this day is treating you well. 🙂
You’re welcome! I just loved the poem (song now stuck in head!). Days off from school are always grand, thanks – even if torrential rain stopped our adventuring plans.

I love earworms because they just replace other earworms. 😉
Yes, I’m off to build a boat now, just to be prepared…there might be an adventure after all, just unplanned. 😉

I love meet and greets so thanks for hosting this monster one but I will now have Monster Mash stuck in my head for the rest of the day 🙂
I was thinking I didn’t have any posts to fit the Halloween theme but my latest post does include a truly terrifying attempt by me to draw Yoda on a white board, lol, and a mummy veggie dip I made for a work potluck! https://daisy9979.wordpress.com/2015/10/26/interview-update-bad-drawings-and-a-pinterest-win/ Hope everyone has a lovely day! 😀
Thank you kindly for the reblog! So glad you could drop by the party and share your blog with others and really get into the spirit of it. 😉
Hope this day is treating you well. 🙂
Had to go all the way to The Dead Sea to get the ingredients, at first I couldn’t wrap my head around the recipe, but I didn’t want to get too wound up about it. Guaranteed yummy or your mummy back! 😉

Thanks for a fabulous Halloween party, Donna!!!! I love Halloween best of all. Great “cover” of the Monster Mash song.
As for the “recount” I want one of Aug, Sept, AND Oct — oh heck make it the whole fleeting year… (I was supposed to be living in the southwest by October — and it’s been that way every October for the past 3 years! 🙁 )
And Carol of the Hells? Surely one of your best! Mega hugs my friend. Mega Halloween Hugs!
Thanks for popping by, Teagan, to get into the spirit of the season!!!
Where has this year gone? Maybe move the month, would that help? 😉
Thank you, as always, dear one, but I see you’re falling into your non-shameless self-promoting bloghussy ways – where’s your link or links? Come back and promote your awesome blog and/or book – all of the wonders of Teagan! 🙂
Mega monster Halloween hugs with extra candy!!! 😉
In total multi-tasking mode (break at work). Hussy mode later. 😀
Thank you so very much for your kind words. A coworker was reading your wonderful review post earlier — yep — i really did plaster it all over my office wall. 😉

Thanks for the scairific Blog Party invitation Donna! It’s a Hallowrifeen idea and the ghost treats are spookalicious!
I’ve reblogged/linked on the following two websites and here are links to stories that are pecululiarly (yes, that’s the right word) and frighteningly entertaining.
Wow, those are particularly frightening, thank you for scaring us in time for Halloween.
I think you qualify as a walking every-day Halloween party, all by yourself.
Thanks again for the reblog and for sharing these shiver-inducing posts! 🙂
Hope this day is better than those. 😉
Thanks for the invitation! I love your blog, it’s an eerily invigorating experience every time you post. Great idea to have a Blog Party, too! and I’m having fun checking out the other links as I get into the heightened Halloweenish spirit.

Hello and thank you for hosting your monster mash! I’m Lisa from Life of an El Paso Woman. I plan on writing more Halloween posts in the next couple of days. Looking forward to more Halloween hijinks on your blog – loved the Top 10 Halloween movie list, I guess this means I have to watch some of those movies yet again (ok not a hardship at all).
Hope this week is being good to you so far. 🙂
I’m new to your blog and can’t wait to read more 🙂 Also thanks for the opportunity to drop a link, my blog is about being single, the postgrad life, and just random thoughts: http://www.hookupcultures.com

Oh, oh – Choppy and I want to play! We re-tweeted the link to the post! And as always, everyone can see us at http://travelswithchoppy.com/. The blog is ostensibly about traveling with Choppy, but these days it’s mostly dog pictures and puns. Some would call this a vast improvement.
Oh please, come in, we’ll get some Halloween doggy treats for Choppy. 🙂
Glad you could come and play, hopefully others will travel over to visit you and Choppy as well, I know it’s always a treat for me. 🙂
Hope this day is being good to you. 🙂
Love a link up, love Halloween, and I know you threw in some sexy Dean just for ME 🙂 hehehehehe. Then you followed it up with some Spooky Mulder! Oh man, is X-Files going to air for y’all in January, too… I never know if it’s delayed or not… you know, like it takes the signal longer to travel up North!
It’s Halloween, where would we be without Supernatural and X-Files? Yes, we get it at the same time as you. In fact, The X-Files was filmed here in Canada, this time too. 🙂
Thanks for leaving a link, Kate, I’m so glad you could drop by and I made it worth you while with all the eye candy. 😉
Hope this week is being good to you. 🙂
You mean one of the best movies ever? I always felt they were more at odds in that movie. Now I think I have to go watch Nightmare Before Christmas…again. 😉
This party is going on all week while I, well, have too many things to do, anyway, my blog door is always open for you. 🙂
Oh good, this post, I read it yesterday, cool. 🙂
I’m the ghostess hostess with the mostess? That’s a lot of ‘s’es, clearly I’m tired. 😉
Hope this day is treating you well, thanks for dropping by and being part of the party! 🙂

We don’t really do Halloween here in Spain in a big way so we have to go out into the garden with all the lights off and scare ourselves silly as the bats fly down to investigate (yes we have bats) then it is a dash inside for the treat part of the exercise. A margherita or two.. guaranteed to keep all vampires away.. If you are stuck for entertainment this Hallows week then head over to Donna’s and join the party.
Sally, your version of Halloween sounds awesome and way scarier/cooler than ours in many ways. Thanks so much for reblogging this, you’re just amazing! 🙂

Thanks for the reblog, Josh and for mingling. 😉
Such a fun post, Donna, colorful, busy, bright. And how I love your Monster Mash…I was singing along the whole way. It was a sweet memory…my first girl scout camp weekend. ☺
I’m glad you enjoyed it, I was singing it too as I reworked it (and there was dancing involved, luckily no video, well, that I know of). 😉
That’s awesome, wow, Girl Scouts, I’m glad it was a sweet memory (and now sweet is making me thin of Girl Scout cookies, oh oh). 😉

Happy Halloween, Donna. Do you get many kids trick or treating? 🙄
Loading...
No and my son is now too old to trick or treat (his words, not mine), he never liked the candy anyway, he always gave it away, he just liked the going out. 🙂
Loading...
Do you open or lock your door for tricksters? I let my daughter and her husband do all that stuff now.
Loading...
We keep stuff just in case, but they never come here, the whole side of the street. It’s weird.
Like the time I was kicked off for 5 days because of a fake spam comment I typed up and then pasted into hundreds of blogs… for example…

WordPress!!!! Yes and the last few days the posts I Like don’t always stay Liked, they’ve done this before, but it’s annoying. WordPress – if it ain’t broke, fix it an break it. 😉

I have done about 50 posts calling for revolutions every time they do a change we don’t want… that is where the flaming beaver flag came from… wait, that is a Canadian thing, not a… uh… anything else thing.
Loading...
Um, in the 1600s and 1700s, Europeans loved stuff made out of beaver pelts, guess you could say they had beaver fever (poor little beavers, bullied because of their dental issues), especially hats, really, really into hats – imagine how those smelled in the summer? At any rate, in 1678, HBC, then known as The Hudson’s Bay Company used the image of beavers on the shield of its coat of arms. Then a coin, named the ‘buck’ was made that equaled the value of exactly one male beaver pelt (one size fits all?), but it wasn’t until 1975 when Pierre Elliot Trudeau was Prime Minister that the beaver became an official emblem of Canada, eh. October 19th, 2015 Trudeau’s son, Justin Trudeau became our 23rd Prime Minister of Canada. I don’t recall any flaming beaver flags, but Canadian history gets pretty wild, so who knows?
Loading...
It started of when the famous Canadian, Trent Lewin, my head minion, claimed that Canada had an elite force of beaver commandos that would light themselves on fire… and I made a flag for one of our revolutions… and the rest is history… and silliness
Loading...
Though usually known as peacekeepers, diplomats, poutine-makers, and brilliant people, nope, the idea of an elite force of beaver commandos that would light themselves on fire…yeah, yeah, just total silliness, no truth to it whatsoever, not at all, the very idea, completely ridiculous, totally…where did you hear that again? 😉

My dad is from Canada… I have been there… I love it… but I have a lot of funny posts about Canada.

I know, right? Also, the Guinness book of world record people have a category for most comments on a whole blog, but not on one post… but we are on the waiting list.

They should have it for just one post and I hope you get there. 🙂

Oh, the biggest comment competition we could even find was a post by some lady who said that any woman who has a kid is throwing her life away, and she got 20,000 comments… almost all of them telling her she was stupid. Ours is done with love. We have reunions, we write stories and poems, people go in there to rant or just be silly. Wow, thanks so much for sharing this, Joanne, and for leaving your link – way to get into the Halloween spirit. 😉
Hope this day is treating you kindly, all the best, always. 🙂
Thanks for throwing a meet and greet bash! My blog is Top of JC’s Mind and its tagline is “eclectic, like me.” I post about a lot of different topics – family, health, politics, the environment, religion, poetry, current events, travel, or whatever else is at the top of my mind. The post I’m sharing here is on the perceived “confidence gap” between men and women in the workplace: https://topofjcsmind.wordpress.com/2015/10/11/the-confidence-gap/; it’s one of my most read this month. I hope you’ll drop by sometime!
I love eclectic, it’s my middle name, well, not literally, but figuratively. So glad you could come by Joanne and get into the spirit of this Halloween blog party and share a link so others can be lucky enough to find your blog! 🙂
Hope this day is treating you kindly. 🙂
Thanks for the opportunity, D! Your party is an embarrassment of riches for finding new blogs. And I’m sure we will be bobbing for apples at some point, too. What’s a Halloween bash without apples? 😉

So glad so many people could make it, next time I’ll have to book a bigger blog. 😉
It was a tad delayed, someone might have eaten the apples…er, oops. 😉
It’s never too late, my blog door is always open for you!
So glad you got into the Halloween spirit and left a link to your blog so others can be lucky enough to find it! 🙂
Putting our feet in the dirt would have a whole other meaning for Halloween!!! lol 😉
Thank you so much for reblogging this, Michelle (I always want to add, my belle, you probably get that a lot).
Glad you could get into the spirit of the season by joining the party!
Hope this day is treating you kindly. 🙂
It was the Mash, it was blogger mash! Ha, ha, ha glorious, Donna, what fun! The first time I ever heard this song I was at my cousins house on Halloween in 1962. Cool stuff. Okay, well my blog https://inmyclutteredattic.wordpress.com/2015/10/22/the-trick-of-eating-treats-filled-with-halloween-woe/ is billed as the happiest most impossible to find blog on the entire internet. These days, its becoming—even more impossible to find. However, I think Donna may be working on that. Thank you Donna for another fun post, and also for the get together. :O)
I found you or did you find me then I found you or will we wake up and find it was all a dream? Either way, now hopefully others will as well. 🙂
Thanks for dropping by the party and hope this day is being good to you. 🙂
Thank you kindly for dropping by, Maja, and joining the party! 🙂
Love your tagline, ‘Enter At Own Risk’, so cool and appropriate for this time of year. 🙂
I’m going to pop by your blog again later because WordPress is having that glitch where the posts I ‘Like’ don’t stay ‘Liked’. Frustrating, but it does make sense why ‘Likes’ are down this week on people’s posts. 🙂
Hope this day is treating you well. 🙂
So glad you could pop by and thanks for getting into the spirit by leaving these great links!!! 🙂 Welcome!!! 🙂
Hope this week is treating you kindly. 🙂
Thanks for getting into the spirit of the party, Terri (I noticed before the haunting you had Zombie Plants Attack!) 🙂

Big hugs xo
Well I think we are having a CanAmera dance contest my dear! Can’t take that Canuck out of me, that’s for sure!! Yeay!! Big hugs and thanks my dear, Cher xo
Never want to take the Canuck out of anyone, after all, we’re awesome, well, the majority of us, wink wink. 😉
That is sooooooooooo true!! 😉 😉

You sort of have to don’t you? Though not today… 😉
lol 😉
Awesome Flash for the season. I love them all!

Party! Ghosts! Cake…? I’d love to join if that’s ok! Thanks for hosting.
My blog (aloadabobbins.wordpress.com) is a mixture of food, photos and fads!
Here’s a suitably spooky post from a couple of weeks ago : A guide to (my) paranormal activity! Hope you enjoy…
http://wp.me/p6j1i2-vf
So glad you could join us, Haylee and yes, that is a very suitably spooky post!
Thanks for getting into the spirit of the party!!! 😉
Hope this day is treating you well. 🙂
You’re welcome! I just loved the poem (song now stuck in head!). Days off from school are always grand, thanks – even if torrential rain stopped our adventuring plans.
I love earworms because they just replace other earworms. 😉
Yes, I’m off to build a boat now, just to be prepared…there might be an adventure after all, just unplanned. 😉
Your story brought back memories of my apartment when I moved in several years ago.
Hi. I’m a longtime fan of your blog and thought I would stop in and say hi.
So, hi again.
I have a blog (http://notapunkrocker.wordpress.com) and a Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest all under my NotAPunkRocker name.
Of course, that’s not my real name. Surprising, I know 😀
Thanks for dropping by, and the fan love is mutual. 🙂
Hope this day is treating you well. 🙂

Thank you kindly for the reblog! So glad you could drop by the party and really get into the spirit of it. 😉

Your welcome, thank you!
🙂
Great Mummy Dip!
Had to go all the way to The Dead Sea to get the ingredients, at first I couldn’t wrap my head around the recipe, but I didn’t want to get too wound up about it. Guaranteed yummy or your mummy back! 😉
Bwahahahaha!

Thank you so much for the reblog, a great way to invite more people to the party! 🙂
Hope this day is treating you well. 🙂
So fun. 😀 Thanks for sharing all this.
Thanks for popping by!!! 🙂
Can’t wait for hussy mode, wait, that sounded bad, let’s try again, hope work is going well and you have a relaxing evening, in hussy mode. 😉
Your work should be plastered everywhere, but in a good way. 😉
Megahugs!!!!

Kayuk
Thanks for the reblog and for dropping by the party!!! 🙂
It was quite a treat to have you get into the spirit of the blog party! 🙂
Hope this day is treating you well. 🙂
‘Why Is There A Roach In My Hair?’ posted on Two on a Rant
( https://rantingalong.wordpress.com/2013/08/14/why-is-there-a-roach-in-my-hair/ ) gives proof that an aerial attack by a cockroach of monolithic proportions can really ruin a girl’s day.
‘How I Survived A Drive-by Shooting’ posted on Where Do I Go From Here?
( https://kayuk.wordpress.com/2014/01/07/how-i-survived-a-drive-by-shooting/ ), a terrifying story of a truck pulling a horse trailer while dodging speeding bullets on back roads of Florida.
By the way, both stories are true, so does that make me a walking every-day Halloween party??
Wow, those are particularly frightening, thank you for scaring us in time for Halloween.
I think you qualify as a walking every-day Halloween party, all by yourself.
Thanks again for the reblog and for sharing these shiver-inducing posts! 🙂
Hope this day is better than those. 😉
Thanks for the invitation! I love your blog, it’s an eerily invigorating experience every time you post. Great idea to have a Blog Party, too! and I’m having fun checking out the other links as I get into the heightened Halloweenish spirit.
Please, fee free to wander around, dig into some posts and blogs and have a howling good time. 😉
Wow! What a year! Keep the party going!
Thanks Olga, hope you can drop by later and leave a link or two. 🙂
Very fun, Donna. Thanks for hosting! Love your rendition of the Mash. So, where’s your recorded version?
My blog is somehow related to writing, usually, in a way, sort of, if I can think of a post at all 🙂 A fun and popular blast from the past: http://mythsofthemirror.com/2015/06/15/20-symptoms-of-writeritis/
😀
Thank you kindly, so pleased you could drop by.
I’m not sure anyone would want to hear me sing it. 😉
Hope this day treats you well. 🙂
Thanks for this reblog, I thought I was having reblog deja vu, then I remembered, oh yeah, the every-day walking Halloween party!!! Awesome. Hope this day is treating you well. 🙂
Thanks! I’ve been having a blasting good time stalking all the scairy links posted here!
Enter at your own risk. 😉
Boo!
Hello and thank you for hosting your monster mash! I’m Lisa from Life of an El Paso Woman. I plan on writing more Halloween posts in the next couple of days. Last night I wrote a post of my top favorite 10 Halloween movies. I don’t like scary movies too much so my list includes some fun, family oriented type. Feel free to stop by at my blog anytime! Thanks again for the great party! 😀

Hope this week is being good to you so far. 🙂
I am getting in the spirit of the season. In fact, I’m finishing up my costume today!
Are we going to see pictures? 😉
No way. It’s an inappropriate Halloween costume party. I will spare you the horrors of the inappropriateness.
So you’re hoping no pictures randomly appear on the internet, that sort…sounds fun. 😉 Hope you have a wonderful time!
They will appear, I’m sure, but to certain audiences I’m hoping.
lol 😉

Thanks for making me smile always. Yes, the days are always brighter. So many things to be grateful for.
There really are. 🙂
It is being excellent to me – I hope yours is just as good (or better, even!).
So glad to hear it. Mine is busy but mostly fun. 🙂
Loved this – so much fun here 😀
Thank you kindly. 🙂
Hope this day is being good to you. 🙂
It was gone in a flash (Sept and Oct) I too demand a recount! Think they’ll listen? Nah. Have a great Halloween and thanks for the invite!
No, and now we’re almost in November, where’s a time machine when you need one? 😉
My post is all about left over Halloween candy! 🙂
https://didthatjusthappenblog.wordpress.com/2015/10/26/what-leftover-halloween-candy/
OUTSTANDING Halloween post!!!

Hope this day is treating you well. 🙂
You see what tequila does!!!

combine Christmas and Halloween… why does that sound familiar… oh yeah… Nightmare Before Christmas! HA!
You mean one of the best movies ever? I always felt they were more at odds in that movie. Now I think I have to go watch Nightmare Before Christmas…again. 😉

Here’s my post. And I look forward to checking out some of the other party people. Thank you for being such a hospitable host 🙂
Reblogged this on Smorgasbord – Variety is the spice of life and commented:
We don’t really do Halloween here in Spain in a big way so we have to go out into the garden with all the lights off and scare ourselves silly as the bats fly down to investigate (yes we have bats) then it is a dash inside for the treat part of the exercise. A margherita or two.. guaranteed to keep all vampires away.. If you are stuck for entertainment this Hallows week then head over to Donna’s and join the party.
Sally, your version of Halloween sounds awesome and way scarier/cooler than ours in many ways. Thanks so much for reblogging this, you’re just amazing! 🙂
Hope this week is being good to you so far. 🙂

Such a fun post, Donna, colorful, busy, bright. And how I love your Monster Mash…I was singing along the whole way. It was a sweet memory…my first girl scout camp weekend. ☺
Hope I’m not too late for the party.

Thanks for hosting. 💀

You’re amazing! This post leaves me winded…like breathless…not t.h.a.t. kind of winded.
Takes one to know one, Tess. 😉
Thanks for dropping by my party! 🙂
Party on, Donna. It’s a great to-do.:-D
😀
Thanks Tess, it’s still rockin’. 😉
Atta girl! 🙂
Thanks for getting us in the Halloween mood with your story, Tess. 🙂
Happy Halloween, Donna. Do you get many kids trick or treating? 🙄
No and my son is now too old to trick or treat (his words, not mine), he never liked the candy anyway, he always gave it away, he just liked the going out. 🙂
Do you open or lock your door for tricksters? I let my daughter and her husband do all that stuff now.
We keep stuff just in case, but they never come here, the whole side of the street. It’s weird.

This has been a test of the emergency blog link service… if this had been an actual blog emergency, you would probably be dead already…
What constitutes an actual ‘blog emergency’? Just for future reference.
It started of when the famous Canadian, Trent Lewin, my head minion, claimed that Canada had an elite force of beaver commandos that would light themselves on fire… and I made a flag for one of our revolutions… and the rest is history… and silliness
So you’re of Canadian descent, eh. 😉
Except I’m adopted, so it gets complicated.
You can still be a Canadian, we’re fairly open. 😉
If Trump wins, I am looking into it.
We got rid of our right-wing-pseudo-tea-partyers up here, finally, at least, for now, they’ll probably be back and in greater numbers.
They come and go… like plagues of locusts…
I like the word locusts, just not so much the locusts themselves. 😉
uh… yay?
no uh about it, or is there?
nuh uh
ya huh
yahuhuhyahuh
Sha na na
Scooby doo
where are you?
ha
hat
What I mean is, if I am not too much of a computer moron… and that link up there works… it will take you to a post I did that has over 44,000 comments… we tried to break the record… we think we did… but the wordpress overlords claim that is the one statistic they don’t keep track of.
Really? They’re statistic happy, how can they not keep track of that? I am is disbeliefness. 😉
I know, right? Also, the Guinness book of world record people have a category for most comments on a whole blog, but not on one post… but we are on the waiting list.
They should have it for just one post and I hope you get there. 🙂
I think we are still working on it… although my main minions have been MIA lately.
Minions can be so unpredictable. 😉
but you still love them
I feel like breaking into ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight?’ but I’ll refrain, nope, apparently not.
I like that song
I’m acting it out too, it’s sort of like interpretive dance, but-in-an-awkward-you’d-wish-you’d-never-agreed-to-go-to-the-opening-night-of-your-friends-play-way. 😉
…ooo000ooo…

I have aliens in my books who speak binary
The aliens in your book are wild and when I saw book, I thought bindary as in book binding, what and then I thought, I may have lost to much blood to that pumpkin so goodnight. 😉
blood sucking pumpkins…
at least they weren’t sparkly…
I get that one… because… teenage daughters…
Team Pumpkin
Teamkin! Pumpeam?
Oh, the biggest comment competition we could even find was a post by some lady who said that any woman who has a kid is throwing her life away, and she got 20,000 comments… almost all of them telling her she was stupid. Ours is done with love. We have reunions, we write stories and poems, people go in there to rant or just be silly. And you can meet some of the coolest bloggers in the world if you go in and randomly reply to old comments… so… yeah.
I know, I wandered through and found a few cool bloggers to follow. You can feel the love. 😉
It is a weird place. We were thinking of making it into a book, but editing it is going to be a bitch.
I bet.

I’ve lost track

Not sure I was ever on them. 😉

It’s time for a meet and greet at yadadarcyyada! Pop over and leave your link and find other great blogs to visit!
Omg, I’m dying!
Just in time for Halloween. 😉
perfect! still smiling.
I’m a little late, but still… better late than never I guess! 😉
http://puttingmyfeetinthedirt.com/
It’s never too late, my blog door is always open for you!
So glad you got into the Halloween spirit and left a link to your blog so others can be lucky enough to find it! 🙂
Thanks D! Have a happy day!
You as well!!! 🙂

Come join the party!

🙂
Hysterical Donna! I will be promoting your Halloween Meet and Greet in my Weekly Roundup tomorrow.
Way to go! A coupe!
Janice
Thank you Janice, that’s very kind of you, I can’t wait to see it!!! 🙂
Welcome to the party and hope this day treats you well.
I’m not quite sure how we found each other, but either way I’m glad I found your site. Thank you Donna, and I hope your day is great too. :O)
Who knows, we’re just lucky we did. 🙂
Yep, very true. :O)
🙂
Aaargh I’m so sorry I didn’t realise your party was yesterday I thought it was on Saturday!!! Soooo sorry!
No worries, I didn’t give a date and anytime you show up is party time, Suzie! 🙂
You are an entertainment show all on your own Donna. Wonderful blog post.
xxx Humongous Hugs xxx
Thank you kindly, David, hope this week is treating you well (can’t wait to hear all about it).

I’ve had that problem too! I thought it was just my Internet misbehaving!
WordPress has done this several times, it’s frustrating because people think they’ve ‘Liked’ a post, but it didn’t stick.
It’s very frustrating!
I think frustrating should be WordPress’s tagline. 😉
Here is my blog: http://www.rockinrandommom.com/ and I’ve written a few posts for Halloween as well: http://www.rockinrandommom.com/2015/10/25/dracula-children-of-the-night/ and http://www.rockinrandommom.com/2015/10/25/rockin-quote-6-tis-near-halloween/. This is a great thing to do right around this time. The next two months are going to be crazy busy. Thanks for having this!
So glad you could pop by and thanks for getting into the spirit by leaving these great links!!! 🙂 Welcome!!! 🙂
Hope this week is treating you kindly. 🙂

You know, I was thinking I hadn’t heard the Monster Mash very much this year.
I haven’t got any monster-appropriate mathematics blog posts, although it happens my humor blog is about werewolves and their cure this week. I’m content with that.
And now it’s in your head. 😉
This is lovely! Thank you for popping by and getting in the spirit of the season. 🙂
Hope this weekend treats you well. 🙂
