How can you miss me when I won’t go away?
Well, I just like you so much I want to stay. Hey.

Summer’s ending again, just like a song, so what could go wrong? Weeeelllll…
- Another WordPress post “corrupted”, again, geez, I’m gonna be Blogging Al Capone soon with all this corruption; pretty soon I’ll be doing posts from WordPress Alcatraz.

- My laptop stopped letting me type the letter “q” (I have to copy and paste the letter q now; to qualify, that’s why you won’t see me using q words often, in case you were quietly quizzical of how I was, in fact, typing q now, umm, yes, quite).

- Fell again and again, oh and I almost forgot, again (I’ve fallen and why do I bother getting up when gravity is just gonna have it’s way with me again).

- Printer went on strike, demanding better working conditions, I feel like one of these days my printer is going to go full Norma Rae on me.

- Fibromyalgia flare (flare seems like such a cute word, how about Fibro Fire, as in, I feel like I’m on fire, pain, fatigue, brain fog, acutely sensitive to well, everything, IBS, migraines…chronic suckage https://yadadarcyyada.com/2019/12/06/chronic-suckage/

- The heat death is still upon us somedays…and the yearly The Invasion of the Pumpkin Spice (the spice must flow, release the horde!).

- Terrible drivers to infinity and beyond…

- Vacuum tried to kill me, hmmm, maybe it’s just tired of being pushed around.

- Spiders, I swear half the spider population are here, inside with me, I don’t like it, let’s be honest, they’re not like Charlotte at all, they’re terrible, terrible, terrible.

Yes, I fully understand these are all First World Problems.

After all, looking on the bright side, I’m not involved in a war, unless trade wars count, you know what, let’s ignore politics, simple enough to do, ummm, ignoring mode activated…

I have food, though most of it hates me and gives an impression of an alien trying to rip its way out of my body, but hey, it’s an adventure?!? Bad Xenomorph, naughty.

I have wonderful family and friends and books; thank you to all the libraries, what would we do without you, I never ever want to try.

Tea and chocolate, for now, between bad crops, war, greed, tariffs, etc. who knows? I was at Costco and 2.4kg, I think that’s just over 5lbs, of Hershey’s Chipits were $34.99 CAD, gosh, I hope the chocolate prices go down soon, seriously, I’m not built for OnlyFans.

I have streaming (mostly for free or free trials) and dreaming (is dreaming still free? https://yadadarcyyada.com/2015/03/27/dreaming-is-free).

I try to write, paint, and blog despite struggling, emotionally, physically, financially, so mostly, I’m happy, all things considered, because there’s: good stuff, bad stuff, sucky stuff, weird stuff, chronic stuff, confusing stuff, and well, just stuff stuff, but in the end…it’s all just stuff and things – they are what they are, it is what it is and deep breaths.

This has all happened before and it will all happen again, so I’ll just chill while I wait for the chilly hot chocolate weather…

Wait to be wrapped in cozy blankets, soft oh so soft socks, wearing heavy sweaters (I complain about the heat because I don’t want to be hot or even overly warm, I want to be chilly then get warm), and mostly, hopefully, wait for some semblance of normalcy to return – thinking happy thoughts and wishing us all well.

Hi, Donna! What a great surprise to have you back again. Where have you been? What experiences did you make? I hope only the best! Best wishes, Michael

I’ve been here and there, mostly here.
Life has been challenging but I always feel
better back here with all of you so here I am again.
I’d love to promise to be more consistent, but I guess
we’ll have to settle for whenever we can.
Hope the week ahead treats you kindly, Michael. 🙂

I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling with a flare up and wish I could just magic it all away from you. Well it’s 7pm and yi’m needing my bed. Take care of yourself. You’ll be in my thoughts. Huge Hugs

I have missed your delightful posts – such a mix, so full of life. Yes, chocolate prices are sin … a sin I say against sanity and comfort. Hurrah for soft sock season!

Soft sock season rules!!!
Yes, every time I see the prices of chocolate I think,
maybe I should stop eating it, but then a voice whispers, maybe not. 😉
Hope the week ahead treats you kindly!!!

Howdy Stranger! I like “FibroFire” but may have to add “Frost” to it cuz’ ten minutes later, I’m freezing! Meh. Let me know when the Pumpkin Spice Invasion ends – I’ll be hiding under my blankie!

Yup, endless temperature changes are fun, right, right? 😉
I love everything about Fall except pumpkin spice…
but hiding under a blankie sounds like my idea of fun,
especially with a flashlight to read with. 🙂
Hope this weekend is treating you kindly. 🙂

And yet, despite it all, you maintain your sense of humour! I’m so happy to see you, old friend! And your post made me smile, and in a few cases nod my head, for I am going through some health challenges, too. Thanks for putting a smile on my face tonight, and I hope we’ll hear more from you soon … you have definitely been missed!!!

Humour shields us from some of the ills of this world or at least makes the battering less, er, battery. 😉
I’m glad I could make you smile, but am sorry to hear you’ve been struggling with health challenges.
I’ve missed you all too and I hope, sincerely that you see better times ahead. All the best, always. 🙂

I love your posts, they always have a sense of joy, sometimes nostalgia, but always with a gentle thread of hope.
I’m very grateful you’re one of the branches of my blogging family tree, Debbie D. (going for the Dr. Seuss rhyming today lol ;).
These days I think we deserve something for just managing to stay upright. Gentle hugs and hope this week is good to you. xox

Hi Donna. Nice to see you back here. Your perspective on things here always brings us a smile. 🙂 Sadly, I have to join you with my printer giving me a lot of Norma Rae too, lol. And don’t get me started with the price of chocolate! LOLOL. Welcome back, if only fleeting. 🧡😍

Always lovely to see you, Debby, I’m so glad to be here and I love reading your blog,
your life experiences and perspective are priceless and fascinating.
I think the band, Rage Against The Machine were definitely talking about printers lol 😉
Chocolate should be a human right, well, maybe that’s a bit far, but perhaps an essential service to keeping us sane lol 😉
I hope this week is treating you kindly so far, my friend and all the best, always. 🙂 xox
