I’m fascinated (and terrified) to see how society deals with Artificial Intelligence, robotics, more automation, etc. (Basic Income now!).

I hold out hope that someday, probably not in my lifetime, common sense will prevail, even if it’s forced upon us by AI.

This is what ChatGPT once said about my blog…Hmmm, quick disclaimer: I’m not a current, former, or future mental health worker.
Be careful what you read and believe.

Yadadarcyyada, also known as Donna Parker, is a blogger who writes about a variety of topics, including entertainment, life, and mental health. She has been blogging for several years and has developed a loyal following of readers who enjoy her humorous and insightful commentary on various subjects.

In her blog, Yadadarcyyada shares personal stories and observations on everything from pop culture to politics. She also offers advice and support for those struggling with mental health issues, drawing on her own experiences and knowledge as a former mental health worker.

Yadadarcyyada’s writing style is known for being witty, irreverent, and often self-deprecating. She has a talent for finding humor in even the most difficult situations, and her posts are often peppered with pop culture references and puns.

Overall, Yadadarcyyada’s blog is a reflection of her unique perspective on the world, and her willingness to share her thoughts and experiences with others.

Other than one glaring error, what do you think, dear readers?

The future is now?
Click “Like” below if you are not a robot.

Surveys are doing a world of good for me to add those much-needed bucks to my piggy bank. However, if I see one more click to prove you’re not a robot I might just scream. As much as this might be a necessity still on the most tiring of days I myself begin to wonder Am I one or Am I not?
It’s when they ask you to find the crosswalks, buses, trees, etc., aarrgggh!
Can I answer, “I Am Human” instead? 😉
Except for the mental heath miscue i think ChatGPT told the truth.
Just that one “little” thing. I’m glad we, as humans, can still enjoy each other. 🙂
Me too.
🙂
The one glaring error is the statement that you have never been a mental health worker? It must be that since all else is true , you are the wittiest, warmest, woman I know. Having become a friend to me does not say much for your good taste though, but lets skip over that for now.
AI is only set to become a problem if those who are creating it don’t set limits as to how far they can go with it, and how far they should go with it. I’m sure like the Iron Lung it could be used to enhance human protection and the quality of life if those are the parameters set for it. (Like Asimov’s law of Robotics). Huge Hugs
But my dearest David, being friends with you shows my breathtakingly good taste,
for you are wonderful and you know it, everyone knows it. 🙂 xoxox
I feel like no matter the limits we set there are going to be
those who push, prod, poke, and pummel those parameters.
The one thing I know, no machine will ever give hugs like humans can,
in that, we are unique and delightful.
Massive all the best my dear very wonderfully human friend hugs xoxoxox
You humble me with your kindness Dear Donna. Hugs Galore
You bring out the best in everyone, dearest David. xoxoxoxo
I am not a robot either — Your blog is quirky and warm with an appropriate level of snark. And it is quite original.
Thank you kindly. 🙂 I love that we can all find each other in this big blogging family, as humans. 🙂
Are you a former mental health worker? ChatGPT’s version of you seems kinda bland to me. I am not a robot, and I will always fight against being assimilated by The Borg.
Never was, am not and never shall be, though I have with depressions, anxiety, etc.
so I have talked about it so I’m guessing that’s where it got that, keywords, etc.
But Resistance is Futile. 😉
Hope this day is treating you humanely!!! 🙂
ChatGPT has been known to jump to false conclusions from time to time. 😉 So far so good in the humane day department!
Apparently it will never admit it doesn’t know something so if it hits on something
it doesn’t know it extrapolates or just makes stuff up. So not so different from humans after all, hmmm. 😉
Good point, albeit depressing. I am so glad I’m not teaching writing now.
I believe humanity will prevail…in some fashion. 🙂
“In some fashion” being the operative phrase. 🙂
Yes. 😉
Looks like the AI is onto you. Definitely sounds like you
I must say except for that one error is was pretty spot on. 😉
Hope this day is treating you kindly, fellow not-a-robot! 😉
Hot topic! Yes! Very brave to check out what AI says!
My insatiable curiosity gets the better of me ever time,
also, with a last name like Parker, I have to be nosy, right, it’s my birthright! 😉
Hope this day is being good to you, my fellow not-a-robot!!! 🙂
Yes, it’s in your name! LOL
lol 😉
Wow. This is interesting. What exactly is Chat GPT? I’ve never heard of it. It makes me wonder what it would say about my blog. LOL!
It’ fun to try it for a lark. Let me know what it says!!!
All the best, today and every day! 🙂
Excellent.
Thank you kindly and I hope this day is being good to you, fellow human. 😉
I hope you’re feeling better and that was a nice review except for his mistakes. LOL And he’s right. You do have a loyal following who loves your posts. I know, since I’m one of them.
Thank you kindly, it’s so lovely having a warm, kind, and generous blogging community, we all make each other better, don’t we? I hope this week is being good to you so far and Mother Nature isn’t confusing you too much, she sure is confusing me. lol 😉
In recent months I have concluded that AI is far more ‘artificial’ than it is ‘intelligent’. That said, I agree with John … it’s pretty spot-on about your blog!
There’s way too much artificial out there, for sure.
Hope this day is being real and humane!!! 🙂
It was a nice peaceful, rainy day and we now have a river in our backyard that wasn’t there before! ☔
It’s nice to suddenly have a river as long as it decides to stay outside the house, indoor rivers are bad.
I love the rain, again, as long as it stays outdoors. 😉
I fully agree!!! No indoor rivers, and today the rain has stopped, the sun shone, and it was even warm-ish! I hope yours was the same!
We’re in a sudden cold snap but because it’s been unseasonably warm and rainy,
most of our snow is gone which is weird, I do enjoy wearing running shoes in February
in Northern Ontario…but I do have questions about why and what it means. All the best, always. 🙂
Sadly, the “why and what it means” is what scientists have been warning us about for decades. And still, there are those who deny, who fight tooth and nail against regulations on fossil fuels, etc. Sometimes I think the human species is on a mission to self-destruct!
It does kinda make you wonder these days…I think watching “An Optimist Guide to The Planet” with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
and other programs/articles of this ilk is the only thing keeping me having any hope for us as a species at this point.
I’ll have to check that one out … I could use a bit of hope these days! Thanks for the recommendation!
Everything is so doom and gloom, it’s nice to decompress and think there’s hope. 🙂
Isn’t this a great site review, Donna? 😉 You must excuse, Chat-GPT is just learning. This is the additional answer i get every second time i am asking something. LOl Best wishes, Michael
Yes, it is learning. Hopefully it learns quickly…hmmm, or maybe at just the right pace to get things right. 😉
Hope this day is treating you kindly and humanely. 🙂
Love it! Keep on keeping on!
Thank you kindly and all the best to you. 🙂
I’d not push the like button, if there was a love button! How do you feel, Mr Spock. 🤗❤️
lol 😉
Thank you kindly for the lovely reblog. 🙂
I hope this weekend and the week ahead treat you well, fellow human. 😉
Want to read more about this topic . This is so different
It was so interesting, amazing how fast things are progressing.
Hope this weekend and the week ahead treat you kindly. 🙂
Apart from the error about professions, I’d say Chat GPT gave a glowing, accurate review! 👌 Curious to try that as well! 😀
It was fun. I did it for my blog, myself, and a magazine I used to run with a friend, it was mostly accurate, well, overall. 😉
Hope this weekend is treating you kindly, cold snap aside. All the best, always. 🙂
Thank you for the lovely reblog!!! 🙂
Hope the week ahead treats you well. 🙂
I think this new generation is being groomed for AI.
It was always meant to be, automation, AI, robotics, but we missed a step in between. It feels like we do that a lot.
Only if some corporate companies would understand
It’s all about the money…sadly.
Another fun and thought provoking read. I think of blogging and all computer entries ever as robot food in a global marketplace.
lol 😉 I like that, robot food. I hope my blog is cake. 😉
Cake and champagne 😀😘
Oh and lasagna!!! lol 😉
AI is making things move so fast.
I certainly don’t feel like I can keep up.
You don’t have to try and keep up hey, keep to your lane and enjoy yourself. AI cannot replace you.
That’s true, each of us is unique. And definitely Very Me for better or worse. lol 😉
I don’t like how we are beat down by AI, we shouldn’t be. AI can never be like humans.
Even if they try and try. Just hope they don’t get jealous of not being able to be human but then, that would be very human. 😉
😂😂 yeah
🙂
Wow, that was fascinating, Donna. I wonder where the Mental Health component came from. Perhaps there’s another Donna Parker who IS a mental health blogger. AI is not capable of distinguishing fact from fiction, which is pretty interesting and challenging. And the reCAPTCHA graphic cracked me up!
It does mention I talk about mental health so I wonder if it just extrapolated?
Who knows but it sure will be an interesting journey seeing where AI goes (and takes us).
Hope this weekend treats you kindly and humanely. 🙂
AI is rather unbelievable. We live in a technology -controlled world.
We are and as long as it’s used responsibly and we put safeguards in place everything should be…sorry,
I tried to write that but I started laughing, does that sound like the human race, no, we’ll run with it to see how much money we can make.
❤️ harika
🙂
I’ll be honest – the latest developments in AI leave me gobsmacked. I’ve been reading about the threat to jobs by robotic minds since I was a teenager, being a sci fi fan. But not a single story claimed that it would be creatives – writers, musicians and artists whose work would be the first to be majorly threatened by the onslaught of machine thinking… True life is surely stranger than fiction!!
I understand because I’ve been reading sci-fi for well over 40 years and I always thought it would be so workers wouldn’t have to do horrible and dangerous jobs, but who knew it would also affect artists, writers, editors, proof-readers, actors/actresses, etc. And yes, it’s all happening sooooo fast!
I’m not a robot either (unless, you know, I’ve been programmed to think I’m not). Anyway, I just stumbled back to your site after a long time away, and realized now much I missed your flavor of funny, seasoned with the occasional underlying insight. Merry Christmas, Donna!
How would we know if we were robots? Thanks Mitch and guess what, I need to stumble back to my blog more often, now that the dust has settled a bit I’m going to try again. Hope this May is treating you well so far. 🙂
It is. And likewise, I hope.
What an interesting blog! So glad i can across your writings!
I’m glad too and because you found me, I “found” you back, Jody, so glad we’re here together. 🙂
Hope the week ahead treats you kindly and again, nice to meet you. 🙂
