Humans are capable of greatness, but too often it’s just us saying we’re great. With all reverence, I’ll paraphrase the magnificent R.E.M.: In the eye of a hurricane, feeling your insides churning as you hear the pain. Bored of people only mis-serving, wanting to believe, can’t perceive their own needs.

You’re so awesome! Happy bloggiversy! It’s good to know you’re in the world.
Thank you kindly and you as well, we’re here so we might as well enjoy! 😉
I love Battlestar and Warehouse 13. And I hate lies. Great read! Hope your day is going well in this very fake temp world we live!
Both were so well done and I wouldn’t be adverse to a mini-series and/or movies from both. 😉
Hope you have a great weekend, David. I haven’t forgotten about the offer to read your book, but I’m still catching up and I’d like to give it my full attention. 🙂
Thanks! Glad you’re back. I’m sure you’d get to “2000 Band Names” first. You don’t even have to start at the beginning of that book.
I feel like I should go in order, maybe not in your book, but I’m definitely interested, I love your band names lists, they make me laugh. 🙂
“but over here in Canada, where we’ll be flooded with U.S. immigrants if Trump becomes President…” I don’t think there will be too many. Most of the people just like to threaten and do nothing when it happens. You know all talk but no action. Kanye West still hasn’t left us.He has been talking about leaving the US for a few years, :/.
Ha! Either way, you won’t have to pay for the wall. 😉
Hope this weekend treats you kindly. 🙂
😉
🙂
You struck a nerve with this post and I hope many will read it and take their time to think about it. I fear the thinking part is the biggest problem in our techno-connected world. So much going on, such an overload of information…it’s hard to find the time to digest all of it; it’s hard to lean back and think about something -like this great post. It’s always good to read you.
It’s true, we try to absorb more information in a day than we did in months or even years, it might take our brains a long time to catch up, but in the meantime, ouch. 😉
Hope this weekend treats you kindly. 🙂
I had really bad anxiety attacks when I got diagnoses with RA. I gave up coffee and caffeine, tried everything. Only after I limited my time on the computer and gave up my beloved computer games did it go away. A doctor explained that I saw too many images in a short amount of time, seems like my pea-sized brain and my eyes couldn’t handle it.
That’s a difficult diagnosis and it’s great that you found something to help although giving up video games is tough if you loved them. I think many of us spend too much time online and I’m enjoying being on less.
I hope this weekend treats you kindly. 🙂
Congratulations Donna and welcome back, you have been missed a lot. I hope, that you feel much more recharged again. Enjoy a beautiful weekend 🙂
Thanks so much. Hope you have a beautiful weekend as well. 🙂
Thank you Donna 🙂
🙂
Happy Blog Birthday, Donna! It’s nice to hear from you, though I understand the need to take breaks. I do that, too. I really love all the REM lyrics and please make sure there’s room for me up there if Trump is elected. I’ll be crossing Lake Erie in a paddle boat, please meet me on the other side with a blanket 😉
Thank you, my blog is finally out of its terrible twos so I expect big things from it…lol 😉
If you’re coming across Lake Erie you’ll avoid the wall – I’ll have a blanket and some hot chocolate ready and waiting! 😉
Hope this weekend treats you kindly.
Aw, thank you. So accommodating. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, too.
Do you like marshmallows or whipped cream in your hot chocolate? I like to be prepared. 😉
Oh my how I have missed you and your wonderful insights…so glad you are back Donna!
Thank you kindly, hope you have a wonder-filled weekend! 🙂
Happy Blog Birthday!!! Glad that you’re back <3
Thank you kindly, it’s so nice to be here, I missed everyone! 🙂
Hope this weekend treats you well.
Happy blog birthday! And good to see, er, read your blog! I like the idea of the octopus garden, as long as it’s not too dark. That might creep me out! 😉
Thanks so much. It’s bright and happy there under the sea, the shade just keeps the heat and sunburn away, right? 😉
Hope this weekend treats you well. 🙂
I love that Edward R Murrow quote, and it’s even more appropriate with the age of internet upon us. I also remember when “news was news”, and you didn’t have to try digging through numerous websites to see if what was said was actually true, or some organizations discombobulation of a half truth.
It’s amazing how much more relevant that quote is that when he said it.
Yup, so much gibberish out there, and I love that ‘discombobulation of a half truth’, it’s a sad state.
Hope his weekend is treating you well so far. 🙂
Happy Blog-Birthday, dear Donna. As usual, you are spot-on with this post. I love every word. The Maya Angelou quote is perfect.
Thank you for the shout-out. I was so busy enjoying your words, and then to see that as well.
Unfortunately I understand migraines all too well. As much as I enjoy your posts, I’m thinking maybe you need to extend your break a little longer… <3
(I'm still trying to find the courage (after being torn down by one too many naysayers) to believe I can beat the odds, and do what my heart knows I need to do in my own life and what's left of my so called career (not about blogging). So thank you again for this feisty post.)
Wishing you unending rainbows and unicorns, my friend. Mega hugs!
https://teagansbooks.com/2016/04/23/guitar-mancer-episode-5-bodaway/
Thank you kindly, dear Teagan, it feels good to be here.
Yes, I love that quote and really try to remember it, good or bad.
You’re very welcome, thank you for reminding me of my love affair with ‘Warehouse 13’, it was very relaxing to rewatch it; makes me smile. 🙂
Yes, those evil migraines sure know how to take a stick to us.
As for the break, I don’t know if I’m back, but I had all these thoughts swirling around in my head so I thought I’d set them free.
I believe you can beat the odds. Ignore the naysayers, they’re unhappy people who think that misery loves company. You be you, do what makes you happy and that will share the happiness. I know whatever you choose to do, you’ll do wonderfully.
And thank you for leaving your post link so others can find your magical, mesmerizing ‘Guitar Mancer’ series/book, I know once they start reading they won’t want to stop, your writing is so compelling.
Mega America’s Attic hugs xoxoxox
You’re too kind — Of course I wouldn’t choose any post but one that featured you. 😀
Warehouse 13 is the least I could do in return for Psych! Endless wonder hugs.
We’re good to each other, as it should be with friends, dear Teagan. Thanks for the shout-out (you know that right).
Mega Ghee Buttersnaps hugs xoxoxo
You need more than a Like button,Donna. You need one that says, I love it!
lol Yes, WordPress should install one of those. 😉
Thanks for dropping by and I hope this weekend treats you well. 🙂
Looking great for the weekend ahead. Enjoys yours too.
🙂
Happy Blogiversary! I was sooo glad to find your post in my reader! 🙂
Thank you kindly and I was so glad to crawl across everyone’s reader! 😉
Happy, Happy Blog Birthday!
Thank you kindly and thanks for dropping by! 🙂
Hey, Happy anniversary! I’m pleased you’re back, ’cause we’ve only just met 🙂
Thank you and happy to be here!!! 🙂
Hope this weekend treats you well. 🙂
Thanks, and to you too!
🙂
In the words of Take That, “I want you back for good”. You’ve had a nice break but enough is enough. I may not be writing much but I still read and I’m missing too much when you’re not around.
What a wonderful, fabulous, delightful feeling to see you here today Donna. Welcome HOME.
xxx Humongous Hugs xxx
That’s so sweet, dear David, I can’t make any promises, but I found writing down stuff that was swirling through my brain quite relaxing. I enjoyed your gues appearance on Roberta’s blog, you always spread joy, thank you. 🙂
It’s lovely to be here and hope you have a wonderful weekend!!! 🙂
Massive friendship hugs xoxox
I was wondering how writing and life and everything were going for you, Donna. I love so many parts of this post so much (not the election, doomed humanity/racism/misogyny/war/death, and personal struggle parts, naturally!) Happy blog-birthday . . . and tucking all the Dickens and Ms. Austen and, on the other hand, so much of pop culture that I love (and other parts that I love to belittle, like Darth Trump) into this. I really don’t know where to begin, honestly. Only a few things to add: I’ll do my part to ensure Americans don’t do a mad rush northward; if that doesn’t work, cue REM’s “The End of the World as we Know” (but, strangely, I won’t feel fine). Oh, and like Dory says, but about writing (and living): Just keep on writing! (didn’t you mention a book; how’s that good? very well, I hope!)
Argh! Out, out, damn typo. I meant “how’s that going” and “good, I hope” but my fingers went ahead of my mind I guess. D’Oh!
I’ve given up on typos, sadly they haven’t given up on me. 😉
Yes, I had so many thoughts swirling around in my brain I decided it was best to set them free, not sure I had a long enough break, but I missed you all. 🙂
Hope this weekend is treating you kindly and thank you so much for the best wishes, Leigh, much appreciated. 🙂
Happy Blogoversary (SO SAY WE ALL!) Even if this is only a quick visit, I am glad you managed this one post as I do always like to hear your perspective.
Thank you. I’ve evolved, rebelled and I have a plan lol 😉
Any visit with you all is lovely. Hope this weekend treats you well. So say we all.
Happy blogaversary my friend and have a great weekend!
Thank you so much, Norm and the same too you, looks like lovely weather! 🙂
Excellent post! Have a beautiful weekend and thanks for the share.
Thank you kindly and the same to you! 🙂
Hi Donna! Happy Blogversary!
Thank you kindly!!! 🙂
You’re welcome!
🙂
Happy blogaversary and thank you for supporting mine 🙂.
Thank you and hope this weekend treats you kindly. 🙂
Yayyyyyyyyy !! So happy to see you back. So many fun memes here. We have missed you, Donna. Hope you are refreshed by the break. ☺☺☺ Happy Anniversary/Birthday to your blog. ❤️ 💛 💙 💜
Yayyyyyyyy, very happy to be back, I missed you all!!!
Glad you had fun!
Thanks, now that my blog has left its terrible twos, it will be more, er, reasonable lol 😉
Hope this weekend treats you well. 🙂
Happy Blogiversary! So glad to read a post from you:)
Thank you kindly, it feels good to be back.
Hope this weekend treats you well. 🙂
Blogging daily takes so much time, and yes, effort. Glad you are back. I’ve been by the wayside too, finishing up my Alaska book. Good luck on yours! I feel it will be exceptional. ~Elle
Thank you kindly, Elle, hope your book is going well. 🙂
Editing now D and that’s a chore!
It’s the part I dread. Best wishes. 🙂
Congratulations. Thank you for a wonderful posting. I even liked all the clips.
Thank you kindly, hope this weekend treats you well. 🙂
Happy Blogversary! As ever loved your post from start to finish – so entertaining. Good luck with your writing, keep me posted how you’re getting on. 🙂
Thank you kindly, Marje and hope you have a delightful weekend! 🙂
Missed you my dear – no one can match your tragi-comedic prose and inter-twining of modern culture/vulture theater. Happy blogversary!
Thank you kindly, Jan, it’s lovely to be back, had so much swirling in my head, had to set it free. 😉
Hope you have a delightful weekend.
Happy Blog Birthday! 🙂 It’s sooo good to see you back on WP and blogging again! I watched The Tragically Hip concert as well. I danced and sang the whole way through. 🙂 Welcome back, Donna! 🙂
Thank you so much, Brenda!!! I’m so glad o be here. 🙂
Yes, I danced to (well, if you can cal it that), but I was having trouble between the crying and singing. It was sad, but wonderful, what an amazing gift, definitely ‘courage’. 🙂
It was a bittersweet concert. We witnessed history in the making. They will always be Canadian icons. I was happy to see Trudeau there sporting his very cool t-shirt. I would agree that it was a very emotional experience.
IT was, decades of joy, hard to let that go, I’m sure it was for The Hip as well. They are the quintessential Canadian band. Trudeau was as always, cool, but it was easy to see it was an emotional experience for him, as it was for most Canadians.
I agree that Trudeau was always cool. We have a great leader. My 19 year old daughter has one The Hip’s songs playlisted on her phone, their music will continue through us and the next generation. 🙂
I think as long as their music is heard, their gift will play on and on and on. 🙂
So true. 🙂
🙂
Good to see you – I missed you!😊
Thank you kindly, glad to be here. 🙂
Hope you have a wonder-filled weekend.
The blogosphere is not the same without Donna…
Awww, thank you kindly, I’m around, just have to get back into the swing of it. 😉
Hurray 🙂
🙂
Love the Murrow quote!
I alternated between singing and crying through that whole Hip show as well! I took the night off work for it.
Happy blog birthday!
It really is the truth.
It was a rough goodbye, decades of joy, hard to say goodbye.
Thank you kindly and hope this weekend treats you well. 🙂
I kept hoping you would turn up again. So glad you did. I will have to take your latest blog in sweet and small stages. There is so much there. An adventure land of both past, present and future. I had trouble counting all the birthday cakes and candles.
A truly great post.
It’s nice to be back. Hope you’re having a lovely weekend so far. 🙂
Happy Blogiversary, Donna! So happy to see your back! Missed your fun filled, thought-provoking posts. Have a wonder-filled weekend! 💛 Christine (Elizabeth)
Thank you kindly, Christine (Elizabeth), glad to be back! Hope this weekend treats you well. 🙂
Congratulations on your blog birthday, possibly your last before President Trump accidentally blows up the world.
Accidentally? 😉 Sigh.
Thank you for the best wishes, I’ll enjoy them while I can.
Happy blog birthday!
Thank you kindly, hope this weekend is treating you well. 🙂
Yes it is, likewise for you.
🙂
Well, look whose back sillying up the interwebs… YAY!
I don’t know if I’m back back or halfback or a quarterback, maybe I’ll just play football. 😉
Just don’t get sacked… HA!!!
I’ll do my best. 😉
yay
Happy, happy blog birthday, Donna. You’ve been away? Me too. Awesome to hear you’re writing. Take your time. It WILL be great. Sorry about the migraines and the health issues. Wish hugs could fix you up. Sending them anyway. <3 <3 😀
Thank you kindly. It’s great you’re back, I don’t know if I am, but a lot was swirling around my brain and I decided to set the thoughts free. 😉
Thank you for your best wishes and the hugs, they always help. Hope this week treats you well, dear Tess. xoxo
I’m still otherwise engaged so will be in and out myself. Good to see you and ‘talk’. Keep well my friend and congrats on the writing. <3
I understand, Tess, me too, but hope you’re doing well. 🙂
Take care, Donna. Getting over an eye infection. Good drugs. 🙂 And you?
That sounds unpleasant, glad you got the good drugs.
Doing well, all things considered and tomorrow is another day. 🙂
It’s a comfort to wake up in the morning to enjoy another day. <3 <3 <3
It is! It’s also lovely to see you on Twitter, Tess, glad you’re one of us twits now, wait, that doesn’t sound right. 😉
Oh Yay! You’re back! (does a happy dance) Happy Birthday!!!!
Thank you kindly, it’s so lovely to be here, Rob, hope this week treats you well. 🙂
so, far…I’m off to a good start. My concentration is back and that’s always good.
So great to hear and I agree, concentration is something we all too often take for granted, only missing it when it’s absent. 🙂
No–I missed you while you were here….but not in the same keening way…:)
🙂
Reblogged this on Art by Rob Goldstein and commented:
She’s back and this time the memes are loaded!
Thank you so much for the delightful reblog, Rob, so nice of you to welcome me back! 🙂
Hope this week is wonder-filled! 🙂
My weeks are usually filled…and some of them have wonder in them….finding a fresh post from you gave zest to my wonder: damn that sounds like a soap commercial!
lol It does! Or lemons! 😉 You are the wonder, Rob. 🙂
That’s why I do the dishes in this home! 🙂
🙂
Thanks for the calorie-free chocolate cake, yum! And I’m with you on, ‘wish the news was just news’. Nice to see you back in blogtown Donna. Happy blogoversary. <3
Eat as much as you’d like, Debby, there’s plenty!
Thanks it’s lovely to be back and hope this week treats you well. 🙂
Thanks Donna, wishing you the same. <3
🙂
Glad to hear your voice again!
That you kindly, it’s lovely to be here, hope this week treats you well. 🙂
Sometimes I put a sign on my front door that says, “Gone Crazy! I’ll be back Later!”
lol That’s awesome, and the important part of the message, you’ll be back later. 😉
🙂
Happy Blogversary, keep blogging and your adversary will start thinking, as anniversaries keep coming. Thanks for Making me smile with your enjoyable writings. Take Care.
So glad to hear I could make you smile, it’s lovely to be back. 😉
Hope this week treats you kindly.
Thanks. Likewise.
🙂
Funny Donna how I come here and my brain sort of decouples from reality as I sponge your words into my hair and let my brain absorb them without thinking. At the end I remember nothing except feeling I’ve been educated, inflated, discombobulated, elated, inhabited (by an alien with gif-worm tendencies – King Arthur is now stuck in my minds eye) and praise be sedated. I can’t stand, I need no more coffee ever and my smile is sort of Botox permanent. I think you are good for me but then again you may be a cult of marshmallow terrorists who have subliminally brainwashed me to eat box sets while trying to undermine capitalism from an app that allows me to get a free croissant if I turn up and sing the yingtong song in Finnish at a nearby opticians. Do I need help or just another post?
Darn, our cover is blown! How did you guess, and we prefer marshmallow revolutionaries. Just wait, you’ll know what you need in 3…2…1. 😉
Hi Donna,
Are you writing again? I thought you were on hiatus. What a wonderful pre-Halloween post. The beginning sounded scary, but the rest of it was so entertaining. I love scrolling through all your pictures.
Sadly, I have to get ready for work because I’d rather look at your pictures and read your entertaining post.
Janice
Hi Janice, I don’t know if I’m back, but I had a lot of stuff swirling around in my head so I thought I’d set it free. 😉
Thanks for dropping by, thanks for another amazing #BloggersPitStop and hope this week treats you well. 🙂
I know these are scary times but don’t panic, just keep your towel handy…
Always, never leave home without my towel… 😉
Happy Blogging Birthday. Your blogging come back is absolutely AM- A-ZING! 🙂
Thank you kindly, Carol, it’s lovely to be back. 🙂
Hope this week is treating you well. 🙂
Thanks Jonathan! 🙂
Hope this weekend is a great one! 🙂
Happy to see you back and happy blog anniversary, Donna! Take care of yourself. Migraines are a bummer! I have had my share over the years. Love your blog and the myriad thoughts you pen! Wow! Right on about Trump! Who knows what will happen with the election. It has been disheartening for Americans but we will persevere and stay strong. America is already great and so is Canada! We love you Canadians. Hugs! Stay well! 😘
Thank you kindly. 🙂
Yes, migraines are definitely unpleasant.
We are already great and hope to stay that way.
Hope this week treats you well. 🙂
A great comeback!! Great to see you here again Donna 💛😎🐣
Thank you kindly, all the best. 🙂
Welcome back! Always enjoy your posts. Here’s some 🍰🍰🍰🍰 🙂
Thank you kindly, Anna, it’s lovely to be here. 🙂
It’s nice that you are back 🙂
Thank you. 🙂
Happy blogiversary!
https://lizziedailyblog.blogspot.co.uk/
Thank you kindly and happy to virtually meet you! 🙂
OMG!!!! I’ve missed you SO MUCH!!! Happy Bloggy Birthday, and welcome back (forever, I hope) xoxoxo #weekendblogshare
It’s nice to be back, but I don’t know if my power level is up to back forever, but I’m definitely more in a writing mode. 🙂
Hope this weekend treats you kindly.
Woot! You’re back. Happy blog birthday. I am glad you have refreshed some, sorry about the rotten migraines, be encouraged, when you get as old as me they seem to go away. You give us plenty to think about and perhaps the lack of thinking is your point. I read somewhere that we should tell people that their brain is an app and then they will use it. Truth is, it is a trillion times greater than any app.
Thanks for the very kind mention of the Blogger’s Pit Stop, we are still here charging bloggers batteries, getting a spark going. All the best Donna,
Kathleen
Thank you kindly, Kathleen, it’s nice to be back.
Our brain is such a powerhouse, it’s a shame more people don’t use it more responsibly. When my son was younger he worried that if he learned too much it would push the other knowledge out, so I explained his brain was just like the TARDIS (one of his favourite shows was Doctor Who) – it’s bigger on the inside and could hold any amount of information he wanted to put in it – he now tries to fill it up more every day. Our brain would be the most amazing app ever!
Hope this weekend is treating you kindly, I’ve popped by #BloggersPitStop a few times so far, lots of awesome blogging treasures there, thank you, as always. 🙂
Donna, this is seriously best thing I have read on the internet in a while! Totally had me at Jane Austen references and “Put the candle back”! So thought-provoking and beautifully enigmatic and the perfect amount of intellectual superiority (I am a huge fan of the intellectually superior)! Thanks for finding my blog which led me to finding your blog. And welcome back to blogging…you have a new follower in me, for sure!
Shelbee
http://www.shelbeeontheedge.com
Thank you so much, Shebee. I don’t know about you, but I find I write something and I think, does this even make sense (all the migraines and meds probably aren’t helping that thought process).
So pleased we found each other and I hope this weekend is a superior one! 😉
Also, do you live in Kingston, Ontario? It is so very near to me…in Watertown, New York! Very cool, indeed, if that is the case!
Shelbee
http://www.shelbeeontheedge.com
No, I’m Southern Ontario, Kingston is more like a second home, I have family that lives there and have spent a lot to time there and have also been to Watertown. So pleased we found each other in this giant virtual haystack, Selbee, hope to virtually visit often. 🙂
Happy bloggiversary🎁🎂💗 I’ve also just come back from a short blogging break. I can see you’ve been busy. Good luck with your book.
Thank you kindly. 🙂
Thanks also for the best wishes on my book, I think I’m going to need it, any advice? 🙂
Wether you’re a plotter or a pantser, take it slowly (write, edit, rewrite over and over) and get lots of feedback from readers and professionals (editor, beta readers…) Don’t give up until you finish first draft…Then it starts all over again! Enjoy the experience💖💗
I’ve got the slow part down pat, thanks, I think that’s all great advice. 🙂
Oh it’s so good to read you again!!! Please don’t let it be a one off! I missed you here, missed reading new posts. Please give us more! Fantastic post my dear! xoxo
Thank you so much, it’s nice to be back, I hope to be around more. 🙂 xoxox
And Canada definitely has a lot going for it. Trudeau is fantastic! http://on.aol.ca/video/pm-trudeau-addresses-the-un-general-assembly-57e1e617c7480e60cbaf3fa2
We do. Trudeau is doing a fairly good job, of course after the last decade our expectations were low (or none), but he is at least trying to move the country forward, not backwards. 🙂
Congrats on your blog birthday and on your book. It’s a great excuse for falling behind in blogging. 😉 So happy for you.
The news of Gene Wilder hit me. Nostalgia. I thought of so many scenes but “Put… the…candle…back!” That’s a brilliant one. 💛
Thank you kindly, Sarah. 🙂
Yes, I want to rewatch ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’, but it might demand too many tissues…and chocolate. Actually, that sounds pretty good right about now. 😉
Hope this week treats you well.
Happy Belated Birthday! Love the photos.
Thank you kindly, I hope this week treats you well. 🙂
The David Tennant photo drew me in, but – oh, my! The Psych references! Love them! Love them all (and must now go binge-watch every episode again…) Also, have you ever read any of Gene Wilder’s fiction? I chose this as my feature at this week’s #FridayFrivolity!
He is a delight, I so miss him as The Doctor. And I wish ‘Psych’ could have gone on for 20 more seasons (that’s not a lot to ask, is it?), they could at least give us a movie…or two…or three…or six. 😉
Yes, I adore Gene Wilder, since I first saw him as Willy Wonka, I was hooked. 🙂
Oh Lisa, thank you kindly, I adore #FridayFrivolity Have made so many lovely friends there. I will be busy on the weekend with family but I will be sure to drop by!!! Hope this weekend treats you well. 🙂
Perhaps Trump could direct Star Wars VIII: Make The Empire Great Again.
Trump for Movie Director! He loves fantasy.
He sure does! 😉
Happy blogaversary to you. Perhaps, in some way, every era is the best of times and the worst of times, in its own way. We are at a crossroads right now. Maybe we’ll hear from you again, one day. Let’s hope. You are one of a kind.
Thank you so much, yes, I agree, it’s probably always the best of times and the worst of times, depending on who you are, where you are and what’s going on around you. Thanks for dropping by and hope this week is being good to you. 🙂
Good to see you in prime Darcy form, with a little help from R.E.M.!
There’s always there to help us through, aren’t they? 😉
I’m so sorry that you were plagued by migraines but happy for you that you were able to read and catch up with other things and outline the chapter for your book- well done! It’s good to see you back. Thanks for joining the #weekendblogshare
Thank you so much, Hannah, it’s lovely to be back and lovely to pop back over to #weekendblogshare – so much bloglove there. 🙂
Hope this week treats you well and hope to be able to drop by #weekendblogshare again…and again…and again.
Ahhhh loved this post… happy blogoversary! Sorry to hear about the migraines, I’ve been having a lot of those too lately, ugh. Kinda wishing your thoughts on the election weren’t quite so spot on, rofl — isn’t it all painful?? Double ugh. Enjoyed the laughs though!
Thank you kindly. 🙂
I’m sorry to hear that, it’s the very last thing I wish we had in common. Hope you’re feeling better soon.
I wish so as well, but we have to hope calmer heads prevail…it’s good to have hope! lol 😉
Hope this week is treating you well.
Danny, thank you so much for featuring my blog on your wonderful How To Network Your Blog on your amazing blog. I was out of town visiting family and trying to stay offline so now I’m playing catch up and this was a lovely surprise to come home to, thank you kindly. 🙂
Hope this week is treating you well.
Thank you so much, Ian, for the lovely reblog. This is so kind of you. 🙂
I was out of town visiting family so I tried to stay offline as much as possible, this was a lovely surprise when I got home!!!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and an even better week. 🙂
Loving your posts! 🎀
Check out mine too? Thanks 💕
Thank you kindly. 🙂
I’ve wandered through many of your very fun and stylish posts (and now following). 🙂
Glad we could find each other in this giant virtual haystack. 🙂
I’m happy to hear that you started writing a book! 🙂
Vivienne X
It certainly has been a learning experience. 😉
Hope this week is treating you well. 🙂
So happy to click over and see a new post rather than your farewell! Too much to comment on, Donna, so I’ll just say I’m glad to find you here, rambling in your half-sad, half-hopeful way. The world is awfully messy and often the loudmouths get all the press. It’s discouraging when fear is the currency of power. But there are wonderful quieter voices that speak and act for reason and compassion. You’re one of them and it looks like you’re not alone 🙂 <3
I was happy to let all the thoughts swirling in my head free and glad people enjoyed them. 🙂
Yes, the world is a mess, but in some may ways amazing. I think there are so many wonderful people out there, it’s a shame the news and social media too often highlight and give attention to the bad ones and the bad stuff.
Glad we’re here together, highlighting some of the good stuff.
Hope this week is treating you well. 🙂
Are you back to blogging more regularly?
Not sure, that being said, I’ve started on another post lol 😉
Enjoyed a good giggle , where do you always find these amazing gifs !? 😂 The two dogs phoning is so funny !
Glad to hear I could pass along some giggles, they’re a wonderful thing. I find them here and there, make some…I know, aren’t they fun? 😉
I hope this week treats you kindly. 🙂
It’s really nice to hear from you again. Happy birthday to your blog, and best of wishes to you.
Lovely of you to drop by, thank you kindly, best wishes to you as well. 🙂
Great stuff. Thanks a Bunch
Hope this weekend treats you kindly. 🙂
