Dear Readers, how are you today? Happy, I hope.
Lately I’ve been in a shall we say, reflective mood, thinking of the highs and lows, cons and pros of being human.
I know, like so many things, it’s complicated.
Let’s start with the Pros:
1. We’re amusing.
I never understand why people go to the zoo when they can watch people instead, such as, on public transit. In one ride I saw: a guy with a bag full of copper wires sucking down a giant blue slurpee who collected paper transfers from the bus floor, tore two apart, licked them, put them together then showed ‘it’ to the driver; another guy was reading a scientific magazine, upside down; a photoshopped woman talking loudly and graphically about her knotty/naughty love life via cellphone; an older gentleman wearing PJs, cool, I did that too, in high school, the top one day, bottoms another, but as I get older I just think, sure, that looks comfy, you could get off the bus and right into bed. Who needs The Oscars? Hop on a bus, be awarded.
2. We’re ingenious.
Really, we came up with all kinds of stuff, like: flying, fire, medicine, books, family, duct tape, technology, chocolate, the internet, music, blogging, swimming inside in the winter, batteries, politicians, money, cake, saunas, friendships, trains, Johnny Depp as a pirate, pool noodle under fitted sheet so a child doesn’t roll out of bed (wish I’d known this when my son was young), driving, driving with dogs on our laps, wait, someone needs to explain this one to me, does the dog think he’s driving, does he even comprehend what driving is, I doubt he passed a driving test, I mean, how did he fill out all the forms, reach the pedals with his paws, not bite the instructor?
3. We’re endlessly curious.
We ask questions such as, but not limited to: “How bad can it be?” (very bad); “Could it get any worse?” (yes); “How stupid can you be?” (have you heard some politicians?).
4. We’re brave.
We live on a planet where the earth shakes, volcanoes spew lava, mountains of snow grow, and storms make us remember there’s no place like home…and then invite tourists, cause it’s that awesome.
5. We fall in love and out of love.
Love can go from oh’s to ex’s…ex’s to oh’s or so I’ve heard…at least, in song. Our hearts can stay, stray, delay, relay, live to love another day. Don’t think my ex’s or oh’s haunt me, but I’d like to think someday my Prince Charming will ride in on his baggage cart and sweep me into his manly arms, yes, apparently in my flight of fancy I’m dainty and light as a feather, his bronzed flesh glowing, huh, glowing? Too much of the X-Files reboot? But I digress…he’ll have room on his baggage cart for my baggage too and we’ll be off, into the sunset (Risky Business-style sunglasses firmly in place), hopefully not ending up like Thelma and Louise, Romeo and Juliet, or Butch and Sundance…
6. We yearn.
For more, for other worlds and explore them through books, movies, TV…finally saw Star Wars The Force Awakens aka A-New-Hope-revisited when I took my son to a movie marathon for his birthday. It was great, but I have to wonder, what is it with people dropping children off on desert planets? Do they think it’s desert daycare? Do they think the children might go all Home Alone on the scum of these wretched hives of villainy? At what point should we just admit they’re bad parents?
7. We all want to be heroes or funny anti-heroes.
Yeah, I saw Deadpooland laughed so hard my sides hurt. I’m having a bit of a Ryan Reynolds week (how often can you say that?), saw Woman In Gold too, how does Helen Mirren do it? But we don’t have to wear a cape, or a mask, have mutant powers, or fancy gadgets…just be good to one another. But if you get a chance to be be Batman and drive the Batmobile, do that too. Kindness is true heroics.
The Cons? Maybe another time, or…all of the above? Anything you want to add?
Fab post, Donna. I’m light as a feather and dainty too…in my dreams 😉
Had to laugh at pyjama-guy. Many a time I’ve thrown jeans over my jamies to get the kids to school, or coats over their jamies and mine to nip to the shops. These days, in Britain, public Pyjama wearing is a no-no. If you get caught at the Supermarket in pyjama bottoms you’ll be politely asked to abandon trolley and leave. A tricky one, considering how many day clothes resemble night clothes these days. 😉
What dreams! 😉
PJs used to be a no-no here too, but now they seem to be everywhere, does seem practical, less changing. 😉
Hope this weekend treats you kindly, Kimmie. 🙂
Big PJ hugs. 🙂
Teheehee I used to do that when my son was a baby…pulling a pair of jeans over my jim jams to drop off daughter at school..I decided it just wasnt me after a few. Plus it added ounces to my waist and hips 🙂
Seriously Donna, I am glad yo are still an active contributor to the blogger’s Pit Stop!
You made my Sunday Afternoon
Julie Syl
Ha, that’s funny, Julie, we have to wear what we care to, I suppose. 😉
I’m always happy to be at the #BloggersPitStop I meet the most amazing folks there – you all do such a wonderful job helping others. Thank you kindly. 🙂

Yes, we are complicated, and genius, and odd, and a mix of all the above. 🙂 Here’s to finding your Prince Charming and ride-off-able sunset. 🙂
Hey, some really great things have come out of people’s imaginations…like casting Newman and Redford as Butch and Sundance…or one person having all those cats. 😉

Our imaginations do seem limitless, guess that would be a pro and con. 😉

Great list and I’m sure you could add quite a bit more 😉
Dear Donna, what a lovely surprise to have your blog to read while I wait for my car to be serviced. (I don’t deal well with anything about my car and get very stressed. So you are even more of a blessing today.
Another great post. Yes I think they are at once pros and cons! 🙂 Love the GIF of Sheldon and kitties. Don’t think I saw that episode.
Have a fabulous Friday. Mega hugs!
I’ve so glad to hear I could help reduce your stress, Teagan, and hope everything is going well, with your car and the rest of your day. 🙂
Thank you for your kind words. You always know how to lift us up. 🙂
Sheldon was having a life crisis and the cats were helping him, although Zazzles was a bit cloying. 😉
Hope you have a fabulous Friday as well, dear friend and megakittyhugs. xox
Thank you, Donna. Everything was easy with the car, despite the voice of experience (of how I’d be treated) expecting otherwise. I might even have made a new friend. And the sun came out. An honestly fabulous Friday.
Now if i can just manage to write my blog post…. That’s not usually so difficult. (I shrug.) More hugs! 🙂 :star:

I’m glad to hear that, Teagan, like computers, cars are lovely when they work…and making a new friend sounds awesome! And here our snow has all melted away again and we’re wandering around in running shoes – glorious! 🙂
You more than managed to write your post – it was amazing and I’m still thinking of how to incorporate more of the senses into my writing. 🙂
Mega sunny hugs! 🙂
We ARE Donna! We certainly are. Love this post❣
Funny how the cons go away when we focus on the pros …
There is always so much to be grateful for in the highs and lows of life!
I love that we are all those things and more – it’s what keeps life interesting (and the occasional surprise thrown in to stop us getting complacent and thinking we have it all worked out!) Loved your memes – especially Sheldon and his cats 🙂
And I love the interesting…what’s that saying, may we live in interesting times, def-in-ite-ly! 😉
Sheldon seriously goes under the ‘interesting’ category. 😉
Hilarious! Yes, we are amusing. Love your idea of people watching instead of zoo visiting. Public transportation is the best! Thanks, I needed this laugh today. 🙂
Thank you kindly and I’m glad I could make you laugh. 🙂
Hope this weekend treats you well…and you get a chance to enjoy nature’s funniest animals (us!). 😉
Great post. We are complicated and ingenious and brave and all sorts of other things. Love the cats, and Johnny Depp – and don’t Butch and Sudnance look so YOUNG?
Sharing insights, thoughts and information would be fun!

It’s Friday Baby…and the way it looks like we survived another week. Isn’t that something. I find people utterly entertaining these days. Is that because I am older now. I mean it can’t be that people got funnier right?
Interesting post as usual Donna 😀 Are you planning to get yourself some cats with this photo says Soon at your blog? They are usually anti-stressful and you never feel alone with such lovely beauties.
I like this. I know that’s pretty generic of me to say, but I do like this. And, I’m not getting what you mean…leaving your kids off on a desert planet is a bad thing?
But, Rey’s parents left her with a kind and generous father figure…

You crack me up! Amid the laughs are great messages. Kindness is heroic. So is being there. But, if the TARDIS shows up in my back yard, I’m outta here!
Fantastic entry! I totally relate to the public transportation section, too. Some real interesting folks out there… but keep taking notes and one day you can write a book on all you’ve seen and encountered!
I love your posts, Donna, and always look forward to them. I enjoy the laughs, but always look for those droplets of wisdom: “Kindness is true heroics.” What a lovely way to cap it off. Keep reflecting. 🙂
I love people watching. My favorite place in down the shore sitting on a bench on the boardwalk. Elderly couples that still hold hands, young couples, families, teenagers and the um very strange folks:)
I also get a kick out of watching people at red lights or stop signs, too funny!
I agree, it’s one of my favourite pastimes and it never gets old because we’re fascinating, humans, that is. 😉
Hope this weekend treats you kindly, Doreen. 🙂
Your posts are a breath of fresh air as well as thought-provoking and entertaining. I don’t know how you do it, but you’re fabulous at these wonderful post. Happy Friday to YOU. 🙂 😀 <3
Thank you so much, Tess, that means so much coming from you…I just write what’s in my head, scared yet? 😉
Hope this week treats you kindly. I’m playing catch up today so I know I’ll be popping over to your blog to make sure I haven’t missed anything. 🙂
You are more than welcome. Don’t overdo. Personally, I hope to take a break soon. <3 <3
Hope the rest of the day and the coming week are king to YOU.

Im intrigued by copper wire man with the slurpee (this may not translate across the pond or it may be my age but can you do that on public transport in Canada?). Anyhoo, was I Magnetron in disguise do you think? All those wires? And I’m glad to cons were the antithesis of the pros. I think antitheses are important but overrated. Up the pros (can you say that on public transport?)
It’s from a store here called a 7-11, sells terrible giant sugary drinks filled with dodgy dyes and Lord only knows what else, plus other convenience items, even food although I am unsure of who would eat there or what kind of dire situation you were in to do so. A slurpee is monster slushy carbonated drink, come to think of it, I wasn’t looking too closely, best not to make eye contact with some people on the bus, it might have been a Big Gulp…either way, it was scary. As for the wires, people are stealing them from homes, hydro poles, etc. and selling the copper – there are even signs up on all our city poles saying this isn’t the good copper (which would just make me think it is and they’re just saying that). I think you can say (or do) just about anything on public transport. 😉
Humans are enchanting. I love your observations on the train. People watching is the best. I fear it will become a lost art with all of us looking at our cell phones. I can’t wait until PJs are classified as ‘business casual.’ I might never retire!
Yes, I can’t believe people want to bury themselves in their phones when they have so much amazing world out their to view. 🙂
PJs as business casual would make the world a better place. lol 😉
Who doesn’t people-watch? It’s entertaining and fodder for writing. I don’t care how creative you are, you can’t make this stuff up! Also… “Kindness is true heroics.” So much yes. ❤️
We’e very patient with our only daughter’s boyfriends. As I said to Bert last week, “I’m none too keen on that lad our Susie’s going out with, he’s just written his name in the snow with widdle.”
Bert said “Why worry David, we’ve all done that.”
I told him, “It was her handwriting!.”
xxx Gargantuan Hugs Donna xxx
I’ve heard mixed reviews about Deadpool – now I’ll have to check it out. The last time I rode a city bus the man next to me peed his pants. Probably nothing I would write about!
The whole time I was watching it I was thinking, I want to see this again…and again.
Oh my, yes, I’ve seen that and a man changing his pants on the bus (luckily he wasn’t going commando). 😉
Hope this weekend is treating you kindly, Jan and thanks for stopping by, always lovely to virtually spend time with you. 🙂
Yes, I agree. We humanoids are endlessly fascinating, but I prefer cats. They dress better. (Always in fur) Are more agile. More decorative. And never apologize.
They are quite dapper and charming and sometimes people are just like cats so we can have both. Glad we found each other, Stacia, looking forward to virtually visiting often. 🙂
I love the question, “How bad can it be?” It’s a question I never learn from.
Your people-watching experience on the bus sounds terrific! You’re right – that is WAY more entertaining than watching over-botoxed folks at the Oscars. 😉
I never thought about it before you wrote about it, but yes, humans are brave, aren’t they? Truly a remarkable bunch.
I forced myself not to ask it, or “How can it get worse?”…because, you know… 😉
I saw a man changing his pants one day on the bus, thankfully he wasn’t going commando. 😉
We are brave and yes, truly remarkable. 🙂
Hope this weekend is being good to you. 🙂
Thank you, thank you, thank for including my latest post http://yadadarcyyada.com/2016/02/26/exs-and-ohs/ in this awesome list. Now I’m off to share and visit the others. 🙂
Hope this week treats you kindly. 🙂
I like watching the ghost in the rental house near us chasing the tenants out. That’s a lot of fun. Lest you think you should feel sorry for them; We’ve had crack heads, meth heads, city people who think the country is going to be like suburbs with trees , and people who think it’s okay to party from 10pm to 6 in the morning without considering that their neighbors actually have day jobs.
I think that house has caused more breakups between couples than a philandering movie star. 🙂
You are quite right… I like to switch on the insightful mode too… And, well, I might come across as many paradoxs as you did (Particularly, by the end of the post)…
Pros and cons at the same time, right!…. Just circumstances and ourselves change, I guess…
Thanks for the good reading, dear Donna… Hugs for your upcoming week. Aquileana 😊🌟
We are so complicated, Aquileana, we humans are that awesome and so flawed (but according to who?).
You’re right, just circumstances and ourselves change, very wise. 🙂
Thanks for dropping by and hugs for your upcoming week as well. All the best. 🙂
Seinfeld used the yada yada thing (although he did yada yada yada), but he didn’t come up with it, the joke was actually used decades before, like most, I agree with The Barenaked Ladies on this one, it’s all been done…I suppose it’s just in how it’s done. 😉 And I don’t think Seinfeld needs more money, he’s good. 😉
Thanks for the shout-out and hope this week treats you yadakindlyyada. 😉
A fun and inspiring post! I love how each section began one way and more than once it turned in an unexpected way. Thanks for being my wake up post today!
You’re right! The zoo is highly overated – people watching is a lot more fun!
I found that Prince Charming sometimes uses the craziest means of transport and wears disguises. I hope you find him!
At least people are in their natural environment (well, sort of), unlike the poor animals. 🙂
Who knows where he is, maybe I’ve already met him and just didn’t know it, but hope springs eternal. 😉
Hope this week is treating you kindly. 🙂
I wouldn’t trade this life for anything–and for many of the reasons you described! There’s so much to be grateful for, entertained by, chuckle at, provoked to think about, aspire to and be enriched by. Thanks for a thoughtful reminder of all there is “out there!”
BRILLIANT! We should give this to NASA and have it sent on one of their space transmissions to deep left space field and any lifeforms that get it will have a better understanding of earth than what they’ve been sending out for the last 50 years or more.
Thank you kindly, I like the idea of my words floating through space, unless they’re misunderstood by an alien race and cause them to attack Earth, oops, got ahead of myself there, might be a good plot for a book through, even if it has been done. 😉
Thank you kindly, Kandice and thanks to you reuniting me with my crock pot (great post and blog), I’m having salsa chicken with wild rice for supper. Yum. 🙂
Thanks so much for participating in the introduction post! 🙂 And you tweeted it, too? You’re amazing. BTW, I’ve been trying to decide about starting a Twitter account…do you feel it’s worth the time? I don’t know if it’s just “one more thing” to keep up with. Would love to hear your thoughts.
This piece is fabulous. And since you have Nathan Fillion on your blog…our friendship must have been predestined. (ha ha.) He’s one of my “Top 5 Guys to Stalk if Hubby Dies in a Horrible Garbage-Disposal Accident.” 😉
Very welcome, thanks for allowing us to be part of the celebration. 🙂
I love Twitter, in fact, I wish I had more time for it, between it and Pinterest, it’s where I get a majority of my traffic. 🙂
Thank you kindly, Casey – that’s a great list and and even better list title… lol 😉
Hope this week treats you kindly and your husband doesn’t have any accidents – Nathan can wait. 😉

Donna, this post is brilliant. I haven’t been getting out and about too much lately so am missing out on sights like this. My ten year old daughter is now catching the train to and from school every day and fills me in on the latest sightings. ON Friday, the there were a whole lot of uni students all dressed up as Japanese gaming characters and they gave the kids balloons and put lollies out for them to help themselves. She talks about how the kids from another school “invade” and how they hide between the seats. Before she started at the school, I thought about her and her friend traveling alone and the risk of lurking paedaphiles but the train is packed full of kids and the teachers call it the “social hour”. She loves it. I’ll have to show her your bus story. Hope you are having a great weekend xx Rowena
Thank you kindly. 🙂
That sounds like fun, I’d love to see that. People don’t know what they’re missing out on by avoiding public transit (and another secret, it’s good for the environment). 🙂
Hope this weekend is treating you well. 🙂
Concerning the zoo part.. There’s a saying that MIGHT be the beginning of an answer: ”The more I get to know human beings, the more I love animals”. Which is kind of irrelevant when you realise that in fact we are only animals who could be logical but that are not… Ho boy!.. This didn’t help at all!! Maybe I should just stick with the funny anti-hero part..
Kindred spirits just met! Of course we are going to visit often! I am for sure! What post should I read next? It might seem strange to ask but you obviously know your blog better than I do and it will help me to get to know you when I will know your own personal posts!! So do not try to guess which one I would prefer instead of just telling me which one would you like me to read next. TY for your time!!

That picture of Butch and Sundance!!! OMG, I need to watch that again!
You have a more interesting mass transit system than we have. Either that or I ride at the wrong times. But yes, you can sure learn lots about human nature by observing – and a bus is one of the best places for a budding author to be, just as one example.
I just watched “A Walk in the Woods” with Robert Redford and Nick Nolte. It has more depth to me, taking on hiking the Appalachian Trail and camping in the rough, while I am 60, I was laughing, teary eyed and exultant when they reached a peak with a grand vista! I am well and enjoyed that post and had both Paul and Robert posters on my attic garret ceiling.
I haven’t seen that one, it looks good. And I can guess that was an amazing feeling!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it and that’s a lovely poster to look at. Hope this weekend treats you kindly. 🙂
Donna, great and entertaining post. I’m forcing myself out of my office chair into #1!! So much fun to watch people in our real life world. Thank you for the reminder. 🙂
It’s so warm, although with all the rain I was playing dodge the worms on my walk (didn’t want to hurt of any of them). 🙂

Oh, so funny. I saw a lot of worms squiggling all over sidewalks here too, Donna. Stepping this way and that in order not to hurt them, just like you! 🙂

Wow, Erika, I’m thrilled!!! Thank you so much, this is lovely! 🙂
It’s both cool and kind of weird to see me as a quote, but I quite like it. 🙂
Thank you again and hope the rest of this week treats you kindly. 🙂
And as I sit observing all of them I often ponder how many of them are doing the same with me and the stories they have to tell. 😉
Hope this weekend is treating you kindly. 🙂
Thank you so much, Ian, for lovely reblog and all the hugs and Easter goodies, the same to you, hope your week is going well so far. I’m drooling already thinking about the chocolate. All the best, always. 🙂

I’m actually doing much better at self-care, Tess. And I’m proud of myself for procrastinating less. Yah me. 😉
Thank you kindly and all the best, today and every single day. 🙂
Same to you, Donna. Wonderful to hear.
<3 <3

Yep we have regular copper thefts from the overhead wires on the tube system plus a few fried thiefs
Seems like copper is to die for these days. 😉
You never cease to amuse me, Darcy, and often to illuminate: yes, kindness is true heroics!
Thank you so much, hope this weekend treats you well. 🙂
I think you captured the essence of mankind right here.
lol 😉
🙂
🙂
Oh yeah, the pros ARE the cons!! Linking to my blog Monday.
lol Yup, and thank you kindly. 🙂
So very welcome!
🙂
Ha, yes, there’s reason to not wait for Prince Charming if he’s glowing like an alien. 😉
Yeah, not a healthy glow.
We are endlessly fascinating, truth really is stranger than fiction, but not strangers. 😉
Hope this weekend is treating you well, Sarah. 🙂
When all is said and done, just “get in the truck”. Enjoy the ride. ☺
How very very true. 🙂
I think there is enough material in point #1 to fuel a full-time blog 😉
Oh easily! lol 😉
You are right – we humans have a lot going for us!
We really do! 🙂
Thanks for the giggles, David, you always know how to put a smile on my face. 🙂
Big is that a lemon snow cone? hugs xoxo
Ha!!! You slay me David. 😀 Mega hugs.
Isn’t he amazing? 😉
You made me laugh. And laugh some more. Great great post!
Thank you kindly and so glad we found each other in this giant virtual haystack, hopefully we can virtually visit often.
We really are quite incredible! Loved your post, very entertaining, especially about people watching this is one of my favourite pastimes… 🙂
We really, really are and thank you kindly, glad to hear you enjoy people watching too. 🙂
Hope this week treats you kindly, Marje. 🙂
And you too.. Donna. 🙂
Not sorry for them at all, but would love to see the ghost chase them out. Cool.
lol 😉 Wow, that many huh?
Hope this week treats you kindly. 🙂
Thanks. 🙂
I’m so glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
Hope this week treats you well. 🙂
I love this Donna. Yes we are complicated and I wouldn’t want it any other way!
Thank you kindly and yes agreed. 🙂
I wouldn’t trade this life for anything–and for many of the reasons you described! There’s so much to be grateful for, entertained by, chuckle at, provoked to think about, aspire to and be enriched by. Thanks for a thoughtful reminder of all there is “out there!”
It is all out there. lol 😉
Most Welcome! Cheers! : )
🙂
wonderful! I like the bus party … also it’s cheaper than the cinema ticket … 😉
Much and always interesting. 🙂
Super cute and fun read this morning. Pretty clever too!
Thank you kindly, Kandice and thanks to you reuniting me with my crock pot (great post and blog), I’m having salsa chicken with wild rice for supper. Yum. 🙂
This is my FAVorite kinda post. You tickle, tickle with humor and then SLAP with the real message: “Kindness is true heroics.” Brava, Darlin’!
Thank you kindly and hope this week is treating you well. 🙂
What a fun read. Thanks for putting the spark in my morning. 🙂
Thank you, Miriam, so glad we found each other, hope we can virtually visit often. 🙂
I’m glad too. And yes, I’m sure I’ll be visiting often. 🙂
🙂
We shop at Walmart – that says and shows us all we need to know about life. LOL 🙂
It’s certainly a lovely spot for people watching. 😉
Well, you can certainly see it all hanging out. 🙂
Ha! Sadly, yes…hopefully, no. 😉
Yes…since we moved to the country (and a septic system) we don’t have a garbage disposal anymore, so I guess he’s safe for now. If I die in a Horrible Blender Accident, he’ll be stalking Tina Fey and Sandra Bullock. Guess what I got for Christmas…

Ha! It’s good you both have a list…and what could lead to that list being implemented, er, of course. 😉
I should probably warn Tina and Sandra…
lol You should. 😉
Hmmm. Upcoming blog post…lol
Can’t wait. 😉
Really great post, Donna! Love your writing style 🙂
Thank you so much, turn out blogging can be quite an adventure too. 😉
Hope this weekend treats you kindly, Cynthia. 🙂
Really great post, Donna. Love your writing style! 🙂
Thank you kindly, glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
Hope this weekend is treating you well. 🙂
I’d call this a great summation of the human race, lol. 🙂 Enjoy your weekend Donna.
lol Thank you so much, Debby, all the best to you this weekend and every day. 🙂
Thanks Donna you too! 🙂
🙂
Loved this post, particularly that pic of Redford and Newman. I especially liked them as Butch and Sundance.
It was one of the movies that made me fall in love with movies…I’m sure their hotness didn’t hurt. 😉
I first saw it in the cinema and they looked even hotter on the big screen. 🙂
I would love to see that on a big screen, I bet it was amazing! 🙂
I went with my husband who was my boyfriend at the time but I made sure he didn’t see me drooling 🙂
I don’t know if I could hide my drool.
I love people watching. This is a nice and interesting post.
It should be an Olympic sport. 😉
Thank you kindly and I hope this week treats you well.
I like the direction you’re going, we are fun animals though. 😉
Glad we found each other, hope we can virtually visit often. 🙂
Wander around, my fav is always the one I just wrote/posted. 🙂
So glad we meet, well, virtually. 😉
Hope this week is being god to you so far. 🙂
PS: Hugs from Montreal!
Is it warming up there at all? 🙂
Hugs xo
That picture of Butch and Sundance!!! OMG, I need to watch that again!
I know, I hadn’t seen it in years, then watched it again, feel in love again. 😉
You have a more interesting mass transit system than we have. Either that or I ride at the wrong times. But yes, you can sure learn lots about human nature by observing – and a bus is one of the best places for a budding author to be, just as one example.
We do seem to have a lot of ‘characters’ in our ever-growing city. 😉
It actually was part of one of my post titles, too. 🙂 I blame Butch Cassidy for my being married 3 x! 🙂 😉 😀
I blame Mr. Darcy for my issues, but I guess in the end… 😉
Thanks Donna. I’m all of a sudden really proud of being human!
Janice
🙂
Donna, great and entertaining post. I’m forcing myself out of my office chair into #1!! So much fun to watch people in our real life world. Thank you for the reminder. 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it and yes, get out there. 😉
Hope the week treats you well. 🙂
Took a lovely walk in 80 degree weather! ☀️
Was it wrong that I was thinking about fishing, even as I was dodging them? lol 😉
Wow, Erika, I’m thrilled!!! Thank you so much, this is lovely! 🙂
It’s both cool and kind of weird to see me as a quote, but I quite like it. 🙂
Thank you again and hope the rest of this week treats you kindly. 🙂
Enjoyed reading this all the way!!!
Thank you kindly. 🙂
Hope this day is being good to you. 🙂
Prince Charming on a baggage cart. Love it!
I’m still waiting. 😉
I laughed at the bus riders!

LOVELY. XOXO-!
Thank you so much, Jonathan for the lovely reblog, kind of you to share with your readers. Hope this week is treating you kindly. 🙂
Pretty good, considering I’m out of my meds….and waiting till payday fo the resupply! 🙂
That’s not good. It’s so wrong people don’t have access to good healthcare.
Well…it helps to manage my moula better, I guess!
I bet that’s easier with more too. lol 😉
Welcome to my blog, appreciate the visits and follow enormously 🙂
Glad we found each other and hope we can virtually visit often. 🙂
Best wishes for a wonder-filled week. 🙂
You too 🙂
🙂
I wanted you to know I saw your headline at Pit Stop and I started cracking up. Exes and Oh’s. Thank you for the laugh!
Janice
I’m glad you liked it, Janice, that song rolls through my head and reminds me of, well, life in general. 😉
I could people-watch for hours and hours and hours..definitely endless entertainment! #FridayFrivolity
They are, I never tire of them. 😉
Hope this week is going well so far. 🙂
I love your posts – they are so hilarious and real.
Thank you kindly. 🙂
