Just the name is shiver-inducing.
I also see some of Holmes in shows like Psych and The Mentalist. All characters are amazing detectives who appear to lack empathy and social skills yet end up helping people massively.

Another parallel in The Mentalist is the evil mastermind opponent of Red John. I am still only in Season 3 so no spoilers please.

I’ll have to get used to liking Watson. He was such a creep in “Fargo.” (The tv show not the movie but you probably knew that.) Billie Bob Thornton was a creep too but yet he was more likeable.

I first say him in ‘Love Actually’, then the latest ‘Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy’, he was nice guys in those, but I agree, he was a wormy little jerk in ‘Fargo’…what is it that makes Thornton so likeable…it’s a mystery. Either way, Benedict Cumberbatch is magnificent. 😉

Wow, Ian, what a lovely welcome back gift! I’m pleased to be back and barring any unforeseen circumstances (just waiting for yet another shoe to drop, hopefully not a whole closet full of them this time) I hope to stay. Thank you for reblogging this, much appreciated. I hope you have been well and happy, wishing for a wonderful combination of both for us, my friend. Best wishes and hugs xoxo
