Still one of my fav movies for dialogue. And it stars Humphrey Bogart, my first love, well, one of the firsts, it’s hard to remember.
k (Bogart) and Renault (the magnificent and sardonic Claude Rains) is the best part of the movie; especially as Renault And Rick walk off into the fog together and Rick says: “Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
There’s been talk of a sequel and a few unsuccessful remakes and prequels, but no success. However, I did love Bugs Bunny in Carrotblanca and The Marx Bros in A Night in Casablanca.

CASABLANCA
This is a great show, that I can watch over time after time.
Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman both are entertaining
after watching the show again and again.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. It is still one my all time favorites.
Mine too Donna says after obviously drooling over it and Humphrey Bogart. Sad really, but it was on last night and yup, I watched it again. 😉 I’m glad you enjoyed the trip. 🙂
I love this movie! 🙂 It’s too bad that they don’t make classics like these anymore…
It’s amazing. It was on again the other night and before I knew it, I was watching it again. 🙂
An awesome find from your archives, Donna. Hugs on the wing!
Thank you kindly, dear Teagan, I’m glad in that of all the blogs, in all the world, I walked into yours. 🙂
Massive “What in heaven’s name brought you to Casablanca?” “…My health, I came to Casablanca for the waters.” “The waters? What waters? We’re in the desert.” “…I was misinformed.” hugs xoxoxox
