Lazy SuperBowl Sundae

I know it’s Super Bowl Sunday
That means I should be
worshiping
the gods of football

Yet when I hear Sunday
I think of many things
people might do:
relaxing
1asunday5cleaning
Sunday dinner
volunteering
#SundayBlogShare
day at the park
drive in the country
fun with family
and friends
brunch
Downton Abbey
museum
movies
walking
tea
Masterpiece Classics
or Mystery!
board games
The Walking Dead
video games
sledding
Sunday Bloody Sunday
staying in bed
curled up with a good book
Broadchurch
cookies
Pokemon
laundry
swimming
The Blacklistblackl3sleeping
shoveling
church

But mostly I think of
rivers of chocolate flowing
down
over snowy white
mountains
of ice cream
majestic whipped cream
caressing icy peaks
crowned by a plump
red
rotund
cherry
all on a lazy sundae1asunday2So whether you’re watching
Super Bowl
Puppy Bowl
Zombie Bowl
Or cleaning your toilet bowl
Hope this day, at least,
is treating you kindly.

      1. Cats ARE mysterious. I like to watch them think.
My new cat (1 week) and my other cat enjoyed some snuggle time yesterday afternoon. Cat one stretched from my lap to my ankles (I sat in leisure chair) and the other on my chest. See they DO get along already. I cried. What a feeling to be so accepted. ❤ ❤
Hope you had a lovely Sunday as well?

      4. I thought it must something since you had them before.
My daughter and son-in-law and had two cats and a poodle when they got together. After a couple of years the dander gave him breathing problems. I took the cats for about a year (had one of my own as well). Finally, I complained three cats were one too many. Please do something about one cat. I don’t know if he got needles or whatever. They took one cat back. A couple years ago, they rescued a kitty in the neighborhood and have had her for five years. My s-i-l seems okay.

  1. Ooh, Downton Abbey. You must have the new series going there, we still have to wait a while. It’s not fair, we’re a former colony of Mother England, you fought and won against them, and yet they favour you. Pouts.

  2. The day was all right apart from dumping about a foot of snow on us, which caused us to miss two different chances to play pinball. This really spoiled the fun of an otherwise nice Sunday, I’m afraid.
