What actor is cooler than Jeff Goldblum? It’s a trick question, none, he’s awesome.
Last night he survived an interview with Stephen Colbert long enough to hock his new film, The Grand Budapest Hotel.
And as if the film being written and directed by Wes Anderson (The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, Bottle Rocket, Moonrise Kingdom, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Fantastic Mr. Fox) and starring Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park, Independence Day, The Fly, SNL, Earth Girls Are Easy, Silverado, The Big Chill, Powder, The Right Stuff, The Tall Guy, Le Week-end, Raines, Simpsons, Annie Hall, Transylvania 6-5000 and so much more) isn’t enough – Oh but it is! It Is! There’s more, look at this cast!

Seriously? Am I drooling? I’m reading the synopsis and it sounds like a dream within a flight of fancy within a spectacle.
Wes Anderson always manages to infuse his characters with such perceptively prosaic blandness as they toil relentlessly toward illumination and elation all while wallowing through a giant dollop of whimsy. The feelings are always so inspired; you get each character and not only who they are, but who they want to be even before they even know it.
