Downton Tabby

cat2Not a typo, there’s actually a book called Downton Tabby by Chris Kelly. And yes, this parody is as silly as it sounds.

The aristocats of Downton Tabby are certainly the cat’s meow.

Both the upstairs and downstairs don’t get along purrfectly, things get a little catty and sometimes fur does fly.

Thankfully they sleep a lot in between: keeping secrets, getting unsolicited advice from The Dowager, trying to keep the catus quo, eating, grooming, more sleeping, playing, and trying to change Lord Grimalkin’s mind (good luck with that).

It works well actually because we know dogs have people and cats have staff.

It’s an aristocat’s world, adjust.cat3

Very me
