ee5Set in the early 1900s, this is an interesting, if at times inaccurate telling of Albert Einstein‘s theory of general relativity and it’s intro to the English-speaking with the help of Eddington, all with the thrilling backdrop of WWI.

Also, examines Einstein’s many complicated relationships, including  with Arthur Stanley Eddington.ee1

The pace is precise, the cast astonishing, the story riveting.
Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit – Gollum, Inkheart)
David Tennant (Doctor Who, Hamlet, Broadchurch, Spies of Warsaw)
Jim Broadbent (Harry Potter, Bridget Jones’ Diary, Blackadder, Indiana Jones)
Rebecca Hall (Iron Man 3, Vicky Christina Barcelona, Frost/Nixon)
Lucy Cohu (Ballet Shoes, Torchwood, Becoming Jane, Marple, Poirot, Midsomer Murders, The Real Jane Austen)
Jodhi May (Emma, Turn of the Screw)

Emphasis on Einstein as a rockstar, not a complete historical look at Eddington‘s work, for me. Guess that’s why it’s Einstein and Eddington. ee2Still, overall, a great film.

Very me

      1. You’re quite welcome. You are very deserving of this award. I sure hope you aren’t having the problems I was having, as it was my first time accepting any awards. I had one hell of a time, but I got it done, right or wrong, doesn’t matter, it’s done and that’s all that matters. I can now laugh about it because it was quite comical. 🙂
