We lived in an electric world. We relied on it for everything. And then the power went out. Everything stopped working. We weren’t prepared. Fear and confusion led to panic. The lucky ones made it out of the cities. The government collapsed. Militias took over, controlling the food supply and stockpiling weapons. We still don’t know why the power went out. But we’re hopeful someone will come and light the way.

The world has lost all its power. No cell phones, no computers, no cars, planes, TV, no electricity.

15 years after a worldwide blackout people struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic America.

This is an amazing sci-fi dystopian world and I can’t wait for the next season to start tomorrow.

rev1I won’t give too many spoilers if you haven’t watched Season 1 yet (why?).  Season 2 should be wild.  So much has happened since we first met our heroes, villains and those in between.  We have found out what caused the blackout, what could fix the problem, but as we know, nothing is ever that simple where power and Power are concerned.

There are some who never want the power to return so they can keep their Power, their supremacy.

I was unsure if this show would catch on, after all, people have become such slaves to technology.  But it’s a hit. Obviously we’re gravitating to dystopian worlds because on some level we realize we’re already living in one. rev3

Just as we want to believe we are trying to make our world better with technology, on some level we realize it’s moving too quickly without any idea of where it is going or what can go wrong.

I would highly recommend this show, the cast is outstanding, fast-paced, but watchable, action-packed, and the plot intriguing.rev2

Awesome cast: Billy Burke (Twilight movies, I know, people need to work, Monk, 24, Rizzoli & Isles)
Tracy Spiridakou (Mortal Kombat: Legacy, Psych, Supernatural)
Elizabeth Mitchell (V, Lost, ER, House MD, Boston Legal, Santa Clause 2&3)
Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, Once Upon A Time, Criminal Minds, Bones)
Zak Orth (Vicky Christina Barcelona, Romeo & Juliet)
David Lyons (ER, Sea Patrol, Safe Haven), Colm Feore  &
Daniella Alonso, J.D. Pardo, Tim Guinee, Graham Rogers, Anna Lise Phillips.

Turns out this REVOLUTION will not be televised.

Very me
