Image  I felt as though I couldn’t breathe through most of this book, Sarah’s Key by Tatiana de Rosnay.

Yet I kept reading. I had to, I was compelled and yet I knew, I knew that I didn’t want to know.

Sometimes you read a book and you will never be the same.

The 2010 French film directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner, starring Kristen Scott Thomas Imagewas also worth watching.

Warning, have tissues ready.

Alternating between 2009 and 1942, it’s an American journalist in France following the story of a young Jewish girl during the Holocaust.

This movie is tragically riveting.

While I recommend both the book and movie, this key unlocks sorrow.

Very me
